How many of you agree with the 50 item auction house limit?
I'm level 31 and I just received 20 "no sale" reject mails and I'm getting sick of dealing with this.

1) I am not over pricing or even medium pricing, in fact whatever price pops up when I plug my item into the auction house I choose a figure at least 30% less than it - AT LEAST.
And I have a diversity of products - armoring, mods, random loots and grenades.

2) The 50 item limit is leaving me very little buffer room of the last 8 items I picked up questing with all the reject sales emails

3) How do you expect me to continue to advance cybertech skill when I have an arseload of wait time to just get rid of all the things in my cargo bay plus sell off all the stuff I pick up questing?

4) At some point another 5 items auction house increase limit should be allowed maybe at level 32

5) Until I navigated my way through your lack of "ooopsy crew skills selection should have been included in class selection" I did not know that you would be sticking a diaper on my face.
I had to google scavenging+cybertech plus a bunch of other things to find out that it is what I should have been doing the whole time. In the meantime I've been wasting my time on treasure hunting so I just switched to scavenging.

6) Your game is in-efficient at selling and buying at this time
I only researched how to create armoring and mods because there was so little things on the auction house for me to buy.

7) There is a very unacceptable low amount of items selling on the auction house - too little.
On my earlier levels I had a very hard time finding anything I needed, even over priced.
I decided to start crafting things and putting them on the auction house because of this but your stupid 50 item limit is screwing up the economy of your game.

Look for yourself. Pick a random class and spec and try to search for something selling that will help you - it's not there. The trade rules should be laxed in the beginning on limits and gradually tightened as the economy grows not strangled from the starting line.

Like it or not, when you create an economy in a massive multiplayer online game you have officially taken a step into politics so deal with it.

In order for an economy to grow you must lax the rules at first and gradually strengthen them and adapt them as the economy grows and more people try to take advantage of the system.

Wait, so youre saying that you need a larger itemlimit so you can put more stuff on the auction house, and at the same time youre complaining that nothing is selling?

people are just flooding the AH with tons and tons of crap right now, its not helping anyone to increase the limit of crap they can put there.

Personally, unless ive made an extra good version of something, i just sell everything off to the regular vendors.
Only stuff i put up on the AH is orange, blue or purple stuff, with the occational "extra good" green.

and if nobody buys the stuff after 2 days, ill usually just sell it off to a vendor.

Seems like an issue with the market sorting itself out, not an issue with 5 extra auction slots being a game changer.

This has nothing to do with the 50 item limit and everything to do with the AH system being clunky, restrictive and generally unfriendly to users.

50 items at a time sounds about right. It restricts the "sell 1 at a time instead of a stack" thing, but just think of all that lag you're not getting on the GTN.

Your problem isn't the 50 limit. It's that nobody is buying your stuff, and there are many other explanations for why that might be happening besides a 50 item limit.

People don't even buy my reasonably priced blues and purples let alone greens.

The entire GTN interface is a complete joke right now anyways. When they actually create a decent system to be used I'm sure we will see more stuff being sold especially trade skill items. No one likes going through hundreds of pages to find what they are looking for.

I just reverse engineer everything I craft that I don't want to use so I get some of the materials back. Nobody is going to buy a green Armoring 4 mod.

Honestly the best thing to do is pretend the AH or GTN or whatever doesn't even exist right now. It is beyond useless. Just treat everything as vendor trash or stash it away in cargo until they fix this mess.

That's a very smart way to use the GTN. My personal frustration is how to look up items to make sure I am posting the lowest price to insure the sale. It's clunky at best.

There are a lot of issues with the GTN and the 50 item limit is lower on the scale, in my opinion. Do I have extras? All the hot damn time, but I'll either reverse engineer stuff I make instead of selling it (I'm not the only one with my skill that's using the GTN), and utilize my cargo hold for stuff I know will sell. In the next part you wsay you are, so...

This is not their concern. If you're not reverse engineering the stuff to get mats back to remake the stuff, I'm not sure what to tell you. Vendor some stuff that isn't going to sell. If I put stuff up for 1 day and it doesn't sell, it goes to a Vendor. Given the clunky interface, some people aren't using the GTN or are having issues finding what they want.

I don't want this to sound negative, but, your arbitrary number for more items in the GTN just happens to be at the level that you are currently? Why not level 25? It's halfway to max. The true question you should be asking is: Why are there limits at all? I believe this to be a coding issue and BW sorely underestimated the usage of the GTN. This goes inline with my thinking of the clunky interface. They simply didn't realize the nature of this beast, which I find astounding.

Google is your best friend for all tradeskills in all games. I'm not sure why you find this frustrating. This has been 'a thing' for the last 13 years with MMO's, it's nothing new, it's actually quite excepted. My Google-Fu is strong because of this.

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

The low amount of sales is not directly the fault of BioWare inasmuch as it is the clunky interface. There would be plenty more for sale were they to restructure it. It's my understanding this inteface issue is high on their list of fixes for the GTN, so patience will be needed. Again, they can't force people to put items on the GTN, but they can fix the clunky interface.

I will say if they simply made it so I can search for an item without having to use the drop down menus, it would help immensely.

I am very familiar with the GTN and BioWare has already made announcements that they are going to address this. Your thread in no way will hurry or hinder the process, but will give yet another place for people to voice their opinions on this matter. Were there perhaps a Search function on the boards this would help too.

In fact, why does BioWare hate Search functions?!?!? They're so anti-Search tehy should have their own emblem and well dressed army!!
