AND, lets not forget, they see no problem in taking our money - and we actually pay more than US citizens. It's a two-way street, we pay & we expect something in return.

That's curious, you're moaning here on this thread , yet you claim to be employed. You're contradicting yourself. Since you are a working individual, I assume you are an adult. As an adult, have you heard of people who work in shifts? They exist. They're employed. And they have time during the day to post on a forum. Shocking, isn't it? May I also tell you that a thread about an MMO is not the place to vent your frustrations with society in general.

Now onto the heart of the matter: this thread and the previous one aims to get the point across to BioWare that all their paying customers deserve to be able to play all day every day. But I'm afraid BioWare doesn't care too much about it. Yet.

Evidence?
1) They charge a monthly subscription for a game they marketed worldwide, but they don't give servers, physically split worldwide, different maintenance time. Any claim by them that it's problematic to schedule it that way is nonsense, since other MMO companies are able to successfully do it. The real issue is that it costs more money to do it. Alas, this wouldn't be the first MMO to be done in by "poor executive decisions". Aka greedy short-sightedness. There's already a backlash but maybe they hope if they ignore it, it will go away?

2) Curious how their carefully calculated global maintenance (based on statistics and graphs they got from a game that's been around less than a month!) consistently favors the CST-time zone. They're not changing it, regardless of how many complaints there have been from paying customers outside of that time zone. BioWare's answer to those customers? "Thank you for your patience".

3) They won't act even if there are a hundred of these threads. They will act only when this hurts their pockets. Or they get a lot of negative publicity. Either way, it has to start going to hell first, so to speak, before they'll act.

So rather than post here, we have to complain to gaming review magazines or post negative reviews online. Nothing is worse than bad publicity.

Unless of course you're one of those thousands of people that got laid off in the last months and years due to economic hardship the height of which we have not yet seen.

also somehow he confounds Eu with UK...game was released in Europe (as I said before also in Russia who finnishes the maintenance at 7.00 PM) not European Union..and even for some European Union Countries the maintenance finnishes at 6.00 PM (see Greece for example, I only supply greenzone examples, 6.00 PM for me too but I'm a redzoner:P)...
