You have no idea what's behind a mantenance schedule like the one they will do tomorrow. It's very likely they need to make it all in the same time to avoid issue we have no idea.

Also normal ppl during the afternoon study \ work, if u have nothing to do, just go out few hours, take a fresh breath of air, come back and u will find server online ready to let u play the game.
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to. Cry if I want to, cry if I want to. You would cry too if it happened to you

He seemed to tweet more 'announcements' during EGA and launch. not much since.

Communciaton is not BW/SWTOR's strong point by any stretch of hte imagination.
Help me, Bio-Ware Support; you're my only hope.

Must be awesome to be "normal". What does it feel like? Ironically, the majority of people isn't "normal", and that also shows in people's daily routines. Not everyone sleeps at night, not every works during the day, not everyone plays the game at the same hours you do.

In fact, considering the fact that 20%+ of the USA is currently unemployed and the European Union is headed towards a massive financial crisis, I think we can expect a lot more people to have to stay at home and pass the time *somehow*.

But of course, "normal" people just go to work and tell others to be "normal" too.

Just because you have 'no idea whats behind maintenance' don't presume to speak for me. I also find it offensive to you classifying people as 'not normal' if they don't flip burgers or go to school. Ironically you are the one 'crying like a child', I guess that puts you in the latter category?

Incidentally if you 'go out to take a breath of fresh air for a few hours' the servers will in fact still be down when you get back and in all likely hood be down for the rest of the day. I'd actually live with the servers going down while I took a modest 2 or 3 hour lunch, but that is not the case!

One more day, another day, and still no "gold" reply ... i will keep waiting thou, perseverance is a virtue
A long time from now, in a galaxy far, far away, fanbois will realize they hurt games they love in a way no troll could ever dream of.

QFT!

We have some stupid tough times on the horizon.

Just wait until the spring hits.

Expect some new "event" on the side of the globalists and perhaps phase 2 of the Occupy events and dissidents in parts of the world where cold has hampered motion.

If they arrange server downtime so that it doesn't inconvenience EU, it will inconvenience US players.

This is not difficult to understand. We are the larger market (US).

Move or get over it.

Edit: Maintenance windows are always coordinated affairs. They will never have a separate maintenance window for separate time zones, as they then run into the complication of different people playing different versions of the game. This is never acceptable, never has been, never will be.

the maintenance ends at 1800 for me here (1900 for Moscow). I'm home and ready to play for an hour then :P
So did the last one. I can wait, but is kindda bordering on peak hours for me and definetly in the peak hours for the russians.

also 8 hours seems long? maybe because the game is still at the beggining or I don't have enough experience with MMOs...
I always shoot first!
