Didn't WoW just come out with a Raid Pug finder? Hardcore indeed.
Nothing about an MMORPG is casual. Everything is a serious time investment. $15 dollars a month is not casual.

Yes, the most profitable demographic for the game industry is "casual" gamers, but that doesn't apply to MMORPGs. This idea that phone apps gamers somehow translates into the target demographic for MMORPGs is absurd. Trying to appeal to that crowd will destroy your game.

You mean the one raid that had five bosses that got cleared in the first week along with hard mode 5-mans and warzone PVP?

Feels familiar to be honest.
That's a complete and utter fabrication. WoW had a MASSIVE backlash due to server instability, game breaking bugs, and lack of any real endgame.

And even if your statement were correct, historically there's never been an MMO that launched with over a million pre-orders.

For your information, because it is clearly your business, my characters are levels 21 and 17. My snails pace through this game (8 hours or so every weekend) ensures me a greater chance of less bugs and more content at the later levels.

And I will never PVP in this game. Ever. Not my cup of soup.
So, it's mind boggling to you that some of us had put in over one THOUSAND hours into this game before you even got the chance to download it, and you think it's weird after all that time we want to hear the SAME conversations over again when we can speak them to ourselves from memory... okay then, have fun living on whatever planet you live on.
Representation of TOR from Launch to the end of the free month is here.

Not nearly as much a WoW clone as TOR is. Do you even think before you type? At least Rift has dynamic world content and an innovative skill system, along with actual reasons to explore the open world. And you're right, it's a total WoW-clone, yet as much as it's a WoW-clone it pales in comparison to how identical TOR is to WoW when you remove the voice over.

$15 a month is very casual and very inexpesive entertainment. SWTOR is worth every penny.

The OP is right... The idiots that troll the forums have always been, and always will be the minority. The people who love or simply like the game stay quiet and always have in every MMO, because they're happy. Those who are pissed off and want to make noise always will go to the first outlet they can find, that being in-game chat and the forums. Then they find a few other people with complaints about the game, then their egos kick into overdrive and they immediately begin to construct a massive delusion of conspiracy by the developer and ideas that they are suddenly in the majority and the game developer is an evil corrupt organization bent on stealing their money.

The fact remains, they are the minority and always have been. Sadly, most of them won't leave, many keep their subscriptions, keep playing and keep ************. Some will leave, and we will be grateful for their departure and silencing of their complaining, but many will stay and continue to be loud and obnoxious. It's how all MMOs have been for years.
