I've also noticed a few references on item names that come from Dragon Age (Mabari for example).

All a bit of tongue-in-cheek. I suppose some people hate it, but I find it kinda funny.

I always liked how in GW1 one area in Nightfall, when looking on the map, looked exactly like the Death Star from Return of the Jedi.

On a serious note, I swear Bioware said they weren't going to do in-jokes and references, but the ones I find can't be coincidence.

Actually, Mabari is far, far older then Dragonage. The Mabari armour is what Lando Calrissian wears on Jabba's barge when trying to rescue Solo in RotJ... it was also in Star Wars Galaxies.
