I've also noticed a few references on item names that come from Dragon Age (Mabari for example). All a bit of tongue-in-cheek. I suppose some people hate it, but I find it kinda funny. I always liked how in GW1 one area in Nightfall, when looking on the map, looked exactly like the Death Star from Return of the Jedi.

On a serious note, I swear Bioware said they weren't going to do in-jokes and references, but the ones I find can't be coincidence.

The Mabari armour is what Lando Calrissian wears on Jabba's barge when trying to rescue Solo in RotJ... it was also in Star Wars Galaxies.
