Datacron bugs + workarounds

Hey,

Currently I almost got all datacrons there are. However I encountered various problems that shouldn't be there.

1. The Alderaan Willpower one does not work if you got a bodytype of 3 or higher. You can't fit through the broken door. Workaround is to die and let somebody resurrect you on the other side.
2. Same applies for the presence one on Corellia except there is no workaround. Here you can't find through the small space between the walls.
3. Datacrons involving the MGGS (Alderaan Strength and Corellia green matrix shard) seem to be dodgy and place you back on the spot you fired it off. There's a work-around to jump a few times and get lucky it doesn't place you back.
4. The invisible bridge on Belsavis for Aim is not walkable. Workaround is to use a rank 1 mount or higher or use Force Sprint to reach it when standing on some rocks.
5. Taral V's datacron is not reachable at all. The building/structure is not physical.
6. The fleet museum +10 datacron has numerous bugs. First off, same old MGGS is buggy as hell again here. Second the beam killing you on the Republic fleet is not working (I think we are missing an extra button). There's a work-around to use the speeder to get on the platform. Last but not least when using the MGGS on the highest magnetic thing, you'll overshoot and get out of space on top of the ship.

• The Aim datacron on Illum doesn't give a codex and also for some doesn't count towards the achievement.

Hotfixed?:

• Belsavis' Green Matrix (the one that requires 4 people) does say it gives a yellow crystal upon completing. To make things even worse, it does not give anything in the end.

Hope these get fixed soon. Having fun getting these but it's a bummer that these aren't achievable or a pain in the *** to pull off.

Well done for already getting almost all the datacrons, I'm still to do my 10th Will be fun to go back and find em all though! Anyway, bit of an elaborate bump really Hope it gets fixed soon!

Did you get the green shard on Belsavis? The one with the 4 Rakata cubes. I read that it is bugged and was wondering if this was still true.

Another way to do this is, if you have Force Leap, duel a friend and Force Leap through the gap.

Going to try this on the Corellia one when I get someone to go with.

The Belsavis Green Matrix Shard is fixed, got it today however the only datacron that isn't updated in my Codex is the Aim one from Illum.

I'm a level 34 Jedi Sage. I have collected 5 shards. 1 green, 2 yellow and 2 blue. I have ZERO red shards. I HAVE to have one or two red shards to make any matrix cube for my class. Did I mention I cannot make any relic that has endurance and/or willpower with out having RED shards first and I have ZERO. Excuse me?? What?? Why do I have zero red shards at level 34. My level 50 relic requires THREE RED shards. At 50 the blue, green, and yellow are useless to me. At level 34 I need ONE BLUE, zero green and zero yellow. So basically I have 1 useful shard and the other 4 are ummmm.......USELESS. Thanks!

Oh and i have a type 3 body so that locks me out of more shards. And I can't find a group of people on Alderaan who are willing to go fight huge mobs of elites forever to reach the datacron in the cave. EVERY npc there is elite. They attack in groups of 4 or more at a time. So going solo is impossible. Tried it, dying multiple times. By 3rd time it was a 30 minute wait for rez and 4th time it would only rez me at the medcenter. Would not rez me on the spot at all. This is really disappointing. I was looking forward to the datacrons. I've done them all till Alderaan. Now I will not do any of them. Makes me sad they took a great idea and allowed some sadist to turn it to trash. Sigh, what a waste.

Not sure why you are complaining that a group game requires you to do group things... guess you are going to hate the one on quesh too then in which you need three people to get. Or any other one that requires you to be grouped because they are in heroic areas. The solution here is to outlevel the content and then go back into the heroic areas if you absolutely must solo a game that wasnt meant to be soloed. Once I was like 3 levels higher, I could go in there just fine, die at the spot rez kill the one group in the area and then bam I got the DC.
