You all hardly seem to realize that, by level 40, you will already have the cost of the training. Furthermore by level 50 you will have about 800k credits AFTER buying the level 40 speeder. 500k between 10 levels is less than nothing.

I don't know that I'm going to spend my credits on that. Anyone else on this bandwagon?
If you don't consider it value for money, don't buy it.
Space, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space...

I'm almost level 50 and I've never upgraded to the 100% speeder.. Of course, that's mostly because I've never had 210k credits in my bank account (and even if I did, I would know it would be better spent elsewhere).

They really should've considered a 25% jump in speed for each level rather than a measly 10%.

Make sure you don't use them then.

Uhhh. Not necessarily. I've never gone above about 150k credits and I'm almost level 50 now. If I didn't craft I would've been able to afford it awhile ago, of course.

The speed on speeders is just way to low to make them any fun or true to the lore. With such huge places like Hoth or Tatooine, At least 50% of what you do on them are just traveling over long distances with slow speeders.

The first speder should have been 150% then rank 2 should be 200% and rank 3 should be 250%

Rank 3 should at least be on par with the Taxi service, which is the only way speeders feel right.

A friend of mine did not care to get the upgrade to speeder and the difference is so low it is hardly noticable.
The Dark Side of the Force is the pathway to many abilities some consider to be… Unnatural.

I can already afford between my lvl 28 and 29 characters, 210k isn't really anything to complain about.
A long time ago in an MMO far,
far away. . .

Correct. My 110% mount can take quite the beating.

It is more of a status thing. If you do not want the 10% for 210k then do not buy it.
Compound interest is a beautiful thing
