I'll play it for a month or two and get an Empire and Republic side story out of it.

Don't play it like an MMO. It's not one. Just play it like you would Fallout 3, Mass Effect or any other RPG. Win the game, cancel and then uninstall.

I think that's what most are doing. No need to regret anything. As an RPG, it has a lot of good hours. Even if it takes you two months to finish the game. Just play it like a solo game. That's what it is and it can be quite enjoyable in that respect.

TOR is more of an MMO than WoW has ever been in its 7 years.

I lol'd. Has this guy never heard of Bioware or ever played a Bioware game?

"This isnt a movie, it's a game" Um what? Where have you been the past 10 years? Games have become more and more cinematic and SWTOR is no different. Bioware is probably the industry leader of cinematic presentation of their video games.

I'm thinking you should go back to World of Warcraft.

Ok I still dont get what you are talking about. Is it on a live server today or not? Not the test server or whatever but an actual server people are playing on.

It's less of an MMO than any MMO I've played over the last ten years.

Stop being silly.

Not many people would know that because the game is still pretty new. But you seem to be assuming without knowing all the facts. Or you are just being is less then honest.

Seriously, these kind of threads should be locked. The OP is filled with half-lies at best. But from what he wrote, you can easily tell he is rehashing the anti-theme park arguements from sandboxers or WoW fans. As you noticed if you really play the game and knew what you were buying, most posters disagree with threads like these. If people didn't respond to these threads they would die very quickly.

The instancing example is a clear lie. I have never seen in game what he described where there are 20ish people on two instances of a HUGE planet. Only places I have seen more then 1 instance was in the starting planet, space station and your home planet. The others are just too big to even start the instancing process.
Simply false.

I have more fun lvling, grouped more than any game before, and the game isnt just random people sitting in trade.

Granted we're just trading opinions here, but I'm just gonna say "NO" to this. I THINK you meant to say it's more of a RPG than WoW has ever been in its 7 years, and I would agree with that 100%.

It is NOT more of an MMO. Absolutely 100% dead wrong. It needs quite a bit of work and support, especially at endgame, for your statement to be true.
. NOOOOOOOoOoOooooo...!!
