Is no one at all going to point out how silly "compaliners" sounds if you say it out loud with a southern accent?
This needed confirmation: I can assure you that the in-game support feature is not fake.
Ticket #1648696 12/26, finally answered on 1/13. There is hope!

I agree with everyone making alts.

Because doing all the same missions over again is where the fun is at.

Bioware's problem is the exact same issue Trion had with rift. Only 1 viable leveling path for each faction. MMo's that want people to play alts (which all of them should) Need to have atleast 3 viable leveling paths for each faction.
Actually Bioware's done a great job, by adding in real story and lore to the game. Each class has its own story, while yes playing these classes will resort to playing some of the same side quests with the other character you can discover new ways to complete them w/ the whole light and dark. You sir say other mmo's offer 3-4 routes to level and this is true but 1-2 are ever used by people while the others are ignored.

Also why wouldn't someone want to re-roll? This game has a perfect reason to re-roll because each class has its own story, what other MMO does that? Every other MMO I've played has a bunch of classes but to re-roll in those vs this game is so absurd because everything you do will be an almost exact repeat to the others as there are no storylines for the classes is just a bunch of random quests that you've done several times w/ the others. SWTOR limits the "grind feel" of a re-roll by offering a complete storyline for each class and only repeating side quests. While yes I'd love some more planets to go explore but that can be done at lvl 50 when the story has finished. I quite enjoy how SWTOR has added meat to the MMO genre and not just a grind fest to race to max level, but being able to truly able enjoy the ride there.

The problem a lot of us have with rerolling right now is that Legacy is promising exciting new options for character creation. I, as many others do, feel current character creation is rather bland and don't want to reroll until we have these new Legacy options they have been hinting at. I will still roll an alt with a friend but I will feel bad if Legacy releases something really cool I could have done if I just waited a little longer and will have to wait til I make a 3rd alt to use.

People don't seem to understand that this is a NEW mmo that just came out. When WoW first came out it didn't have an end game raid for months, no battle grounds, no honor system.... all of this takes time. Sure they could of held off but we would of waited for the game to come out late 2012.
