Hey.... you... yes you.

 

I've seen you in Ancient Hypergate and please... stop.

 

Stop trying to "delay" the enemy cap.

 

Stop sending 2-3 people to the "off node" to "slow them down"

 

You don't get points for holding your node longer... you only get points for holding it until detonation. In fact, you're giving the enemy team free points by giving them free kills. Not only that, but you're also leaving your team short handed by giving the enemy team numbers at mid. Which therefore gives them more kills and more points.

 

When they announcer says "Heroes of the Empire".... he's not talking about you. You're not going to kill all 8 enemy players and take their node from the start. Even if you did, chances are there is far too much time on the clock to hold both nodes until detonation. Time your attack if you want to take the enemy node... going from the start is bad practice.

 

Seriously... just stop.

 

The only reason you should send players to the off node from the start is if you really think you can hold it long enough for your team to back you up after capping the other node. The problem with this even, is that it would take coordination, team work and communication. Something you don't have in regular war zones... so yeah... just stop.

 

Go for a quick cap towards the end of the round if you notice a node not well guarded. If you can coordinate enough stealth to sap cap the node towards the end of the round. More power to you. But for the love of god please stop sending 2 people to the node to "delay" the cap at the beginning of the match when it hurts your team more than it helps it.
