I just recently hit 50 on my operative after starting fairly late so i had to catch up in gearing for pvp but with good luck that went fairly fast. Now im wondering will i be able to successfully heal hardmodes with my pvp gear and spec?

 

Before all the if you know how to heal statements start up, i've only ever healed in mmo's. I'm just wondering the level of difficulty ill face going in with out the operative medic aoe heal. I also don't know since i didn't do many flashpoints while leveling, if there's a major gear difference and if so will it be that crippling.

As a scoundrel (mirror of your class), I found that healing with PvP gear worked just fine. Also, our AoE heal isn't exactly a game changer, so I wouldn't worry about it; in fact, I only use my AoE heal to top up the group after every trash pull, heh.
