Beyorn
My main character has like 70 comms he doesn't need. Is there anyway to give them to an alt or spend them on something and send the item to the alt. I tried this the other night and I couldn't get it to work ;(. Skodan
you cant send comms directly but you can buy the items with your comms and send those to your alts
JacksonMo
you can buy item mods with them (armorings, barrels, mods, etc.) Or you can buy lock boxes. These are random, so no way to control what you end up with. Equipment from comendation vendors is bind on pickup, so not worth it unless you like the looks of something. Beyorn
I should have said that I'm talking about the level 50 daily comms. For some reason when I try it they all say bound ;(. Edited December 9, 2012 by Beyorn
SleepyKing
Nearly all items you buy with Daily Comms are Bind on Pickup, meaning that you can't send them to alts or sell them on the GTN. One notable exception is Rakata Implants, which are only bind on equip. When you hit 120 comms, you can buy an implant and send it to an alt or sell it on the GTN (they go for about 150-200k on my server). With planetary comms, you can buy modifications and send them to alts - such mods are bind on equip. Tionese, Columi and Black Hole comms buy equipment that is all bind on pickup, but you can rip the mods out of most of them, put them in legacy gear (the Bind on Legacy gear you can get from the legacy vendors on Coruscant or Dromund Kas) and mail them to another member of your legacy. Suzina
If you have bind-to-legacy gear (such as that found on dromund kaas in the trade section for about 100k per piece) you can put any mods, even end-game raided gear such as black-hole comm gear, into that item and mail it to your other characters. Expect to pay thousands of credits in mod-stripping charges.
