Click Forums 3. Read Community News TOP ARTICLE dated 12.13.2011 titled "Welcome to STAR WARS: The Old Republic!" (For you convenience here is the first and most relevant sentence) "12.13.2011 - This is a big day for us; we are launching Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, BioWare’s largest and most ambitious project to date" Also feel free to read StephenReids dev tracker posts where he constantly explains the process and logic behind how they are going about the LAUNCH of the game and why they are slowly letting people in , in-order to make their LAUNCH smooth (heh) Lastly............ When someone who didnt pre-order (i doubt anyone who PLANS on playing the game didnt) gets into the game on the 20th of December, and he walks up to a level 50 player... Do you think hes gonna consider the 20th of December "Launch" ? Get over it kids, this is the games "launch" just as the first day of RIFT's early access was "launch"......... THE SERVER IS FREAKN UP AND PLAYERS ARE IN AND LVLING. when "launch day come" THERE ARE LEVEL 50s INSIDEEEEEEEEE how in god name can you have lvl 50s inside on launch day? At this point it's all semantics really but whose side are you going to take? So if they say the moon is made out of cheese does that make it so? Physical copies at this point is moot. They still cannot start a subscription until....Dec 20. This is what people should be looking at http://buy.swtor.com/us/ it has all the info you are looking for. (Hint: Look under Early Game Access has now started. Pre-order to play.
