Pew pew pew pew. PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW!

With each watergun blaster my heart breaks a little :<

I mean, how can you turn

into that? Sure, there were 'weak' sounding blasters in that video as well, but... most of them sounded pretty powerful.

It's well know by now, at least IMHO, that the best sounding weapons are the Vanilla ones. Every single CM related weapon is absolute crap, bar some noticeable exceptions.

I regret the day with a passion I spent two million credits on this crappy-sounding lightsaber named "Ziost Guardian's Lightsaber".

I got this one by chance and love it ^-^ Especially the sound it makes when you activate it (which is badly represented in the video). Haven't been using any other saber since.

Not a fan quite honestly but to each his own. ;)

I just prefer the ones that you receive once you're done on Tython and Korriban, as far as the sound goes. My second Sentinel on the Red Eclipse still uses them in fact and my first Sentinel has those which, IMHO, are by the ones I enjoy the most...

I got Forceslayer in the Justicar territory on Coruscant over two(!!!) years ago; It has stuck with her ever since.

I honestly think it sounds a lot better ingame than it does in the video there. It's a deep humming sound. Still, shame that they didn't put sounds like

into the game. I just love the sound of these double sabers.

The LS that Sith Inquisitors get upon finishing Korriban also has a real deep humming sound. I'm quite fond of it, even though I don't use it anymore in either of my Inquisitors.

Regardless, the sound of those double LS's on that vid is absolutely astonishing. :D

I don't really like the look of the basic sabers, I have to say. They are a bit too... clunky in my honest opinion.

And yeah, if there's one thing Clone Wars did oh so very right it was lightsaber sounds. The audio in general is quite impressive for a TV show.

Also, Mauls voice actor on that show is great ;X

What they lack in appearance, they make up for how awesome sounding they are; It's a trade off I guess. :o

Those two samples and the lightsaber sound like the pitch was turned way higher than the original sound and slapped "done". I'm all for different variants of sound, but just changing the pitch to a comically high level is not one I would suggest.

In my opinion, I expect SW sounds to sound "beefy". More treble and bass and low end. The negative is, if the frequency is within a certain range it makes my head rattle with my headphones on. Then I can't play for hours and hours at a time.

Wow, those sound weak. I've changed lightsabers based on the sounds they make. Not that either one sounded bad, it was just preference. How about another mod socket on weapons to give them the sound you like? The items could be statless and just change the sound. Unfortunately that might lead to cartel items costing 2000k. :(

Im still using the Electro Charge Rifle I picked up on The Esseles. After finding that the gun was available from the Specialty Good Planetary Comm vendor on Coruscant (and the Dromund Kaas Spaceport), all my rifles since have been one of them.

I'm praying to The Force that they don't give the great-looking guns from the upcoming Nar Shaddaa event these chincey sound effects! It's bad enough they gave em to the giant Rakghoul blaster/sniper rifles, which sound comically crappy for such large guns.

Yeah, I sincerely hope they don't screw up the sounds for the casino event guns.

They have shown the capacity for good sounds before (mainly the vanilla guns, but guns like the Primordial Assault Cannon come to mind as well).

I'm afraid that whoever worked on the sound for the original weapons, including Lightsabers, is probably not even working in the game anymore and whoever is - no offense intended to that person - never saw a single SW film in his / her entire life.

This has been going on since the beginning of f2p. Every single lightsaber from cartel market makes almost same, awful sounds every single month. And it's a shame because many of them look really neat and I'd love the new ones with wooden ornaments on the hilt to sound proper.

Here is a reminder how the lightsaber sounds like:

--- Every lightsaber ignition and retraction from Star Wars films.

Ugh... Doesn't Bioware get you guys some sort of medical care package? Because you have some bad ear and eye problems of late. :D Awful sounds and mixing up colors in lightsaber crystals... trust the force and visit a doctor :D
