Luneward
The only rep that currently exists related to GSF is the one tied to the new Cartel Market packs.
cantstopmeh
definitely not. space misions have nothink to Gsf. Btw -nothing, how... They have nothing to do with each other? The reputation is called " Imperial first mobile fleet" . That sounds right up GSFs ally.
Armonddd
They have nothing to do with each other? The reputation is called " Imperial first mobile fleet" . That sounds right up GSFs ally. But it's not. The Imperial First Mobile Fleet takes care of military action that pits a small elite force (often a single unit, sometimes with support and escort ships) of the Imperial Navy against a large Republic force, or a large pirate problem, or similar. The Imperial Forward Command acts to counter the Republic First Fleet's elite 12- and 8-man elite squadrons by sending similar sized elite squadrons of their own to the battlefield. Llama-Eight
In addition to Armonddd's post, the first mobile fleet (& the Rep equivalent) relates to the "heroic" space combat missions released a while ago, while the forward command relates to the GSF stuff. I understand that Bio put in two separate reps for space missions and GSF. My question is why? There the same thing, the only reason I can think of is to add More rep options. I'm not impressed they should just use the same rep option. This is also incredibly bias on my part, I had legend rep with the fleet less then two months after rep options came out, and I'm just dissapointed that no new options have Ben added. They forgot about space missions and I was hoping for new options.
Luneward
Except... they're not the same thing! Armondd already pointed out the difference. Let me put it in real life terms... Are Navy Seals and the Marine Corps the same thing? No. No they're not. They're both far better trained than standard armed forces, but differ in scope and implementation. The Imperial Mobile Fleet are the Seals. The best of the best, usually deployed in small mobile squadrons possibly under short notice. The Starfighters are Marines. Elite, but not as elite as the IMF, deployed to protect or attack important assets that are important to the Empire but not necessarily immediately critical. Both are US/Imperial armed forces, but have completely different ranks, awards, and chains of command. While I can understand the desire to have something new to work on - possibly attached to the daily/weekly quests, at some point it just gets ridiculous if they add a new reputation for every new thing they implement in game. And it would probably just have recolors of existing sets as rewards so forgive me if I'm not enthused. And my guess that they're not adding new space missions due to lack of demand. It's hardly been a popular feature even since launch. They had a screenshot of one of the new missions (one that looked like it was in some factory or space station) on the main page for over a year, but not a peep was mentioned after the initial teaser. That's life! Honestly, it would be better to just ask for rep tokens for the new reputation to be added to the GSF daily/weekly. I'm not saying they need more space mission material, I never said that, they need more rep rewards. You could consider hat GSF is just the old Space missions, reengineered to fulfill what the players wanted. So why not use the same reputation line, there making to many each cartel pack gets its our line; GSF and SMs should just combined to simplify an increasingly messy system of tracking rep. As for your analogies on the United States military, LOL. first no mater what branch you're in, you're serving in ONE military. Yes the group of people branch off into their own accountable forces, but they are all on one team working together. That is debatable and who is to say how a "rep" system would work in real life LOL. What I find hysterical about your ego trip, your "please let me explain" because I'm so much smarter then you, condescending tone ******** explanation. With four military branches to pick, Army, Navy, Coast Gaurd, Marines.... And you need one to help with your explanation for the Galactice Mobile Fleets... You pick the navy... O wait sorry I ment to write Marines, that was the one you picked, the Marines.... Not the Navy......yep, boy you might be stupid.
