On March 18th, all game servers, SWTOR.com, and the launcher will be unavailable while we perform scheduled maintenance. Game Update 2.6.2 will be implemented during this downtime. Details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, March 18th, 2014

Duration: 7.5 hours

Time: 11:30PM PST on 3/17 (6:30AM GMT) - 7AM PST (2PM GMT)

During maintenance, all updates and additional information will be posted on our Twitter account.

Thank you for your patience as we maintain service for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.

Wow, haven't seen a 7-hour maintenance in a while...

I think you messed up Daylight Savings Time, the end time should be 2pm GMT, not 3pm GMT. And the Twitter link is still broken.

It's obvious the server droid opted to skip his scheduled weekly maintenance. Personality quirks are emerging and most likely Directive Seven will be reborn.

Nice to see us Aussies get completely screwed over again, its bad enough when it goes off at 8pm, but now it will be off at 4:30pm, nice to know its more important for a handful of americans to play in the morning before, then let Aussies get a chance to play. Edited by AussieAlan

Yea...the servers will be down overnight in America. Shame on this American company, located in America, to operate on American time schedules.

Seven hours downtime for that?

I can totally understand why the maintenance window seems long based on the Patch Note contents. During maintenance periods, we also have changes beyond updating the game - hardware maintenance, website back-end changes, so on and so forth. This is why the maintenance seems long vs. the Patch Notes.

Nice. Appreciate the fact you took the time to clear it up.

When will the new cartel packs hit? The insider said the last one will hit in april, which would mean that the one we can preview should hit live soon.. But the patch notes says nothing.., Do we have to wait another week?

Do you feel less silly now?

Not really, since it was not a silly statement to begin with but rather an accurate assessment, which Tait was kind enough to address both here and on reddit.

The joke - or silliness if you prefer - is on you over the fact you feel this basic need to seek confrontation at every chance you get.

Pretty sure I saw something posted about this last week which said the next pack won't be coming out until April.
