Friender
I am completely befuddled on what is going on ! I started downloading everything today, but I am only getting an avg of 20-25 Kb/s. According to Speedtest, I should be able to get about 3 Mb/s (which sucks, but unfortunately I have no choice in the matter)...this is going to take forever unless I can somehow figure out the problem. If anyone could give me some ideas on what to check, I would greatly appreciate it! BTW, I've checked my firewall and I know it is not that. I would try port forwarding, but I'm kinda confused on what exactly to do and I am not sure that will even help...
Jheather
Everyone and their parents are currently downloading the game, or playing that game, Bioware does not have unlimited bandwidth so until the load lessens on the download servers you are just going to have to grin and bare with it, sorry. Gaxon
Why did you wait until today? I dl'ed mine a week ago at 1.8Mbps
MeETpLoW
Yeah I downloaded mine a week ago and it took like 14hours and I have a 12mb connection. I suspect that today and tomorrow it will be at least 2x that time.
Friender
Originally I thought I had already downloaded it a while ago. I definitely should've checked earlier which is on me. My only reason for asking was it seemed like everyone else who posted about downloading the client had much faster speeds than what I currently am seeing (even people in the same boat I am)...I can wait if it's definitely a bandwidth issue, it just seemed slow even for that.
