I have a 31 shadow (imfil) and 21 gunslinger (sharpshooter).

And I just can't decide which one I want to take to 50. I like the many options of shadows and was wondering if gunslingers have that many options too at higher levels.

 

Which has more dynamic play/options? Does a gunslinger ALWAYS have to rely on cover PvE? Does he use the same patterns?

 

In PvE?

 

In PvP?

Shadow will be more dynamic...gunslinger will have the better bottom line. Both will get the job done but rDPS usually has advantages when raiding.
