Tatwamasi
Hi, I am looking forward to pvp hardcore. I play from the middle east and i get a latency around 160-220 ms. I would like your suggestion based on your in depth knowledge in pvp, which class mechanic would be the most forgiving , playable to the best in this latency frame. I cannot reduce the latency no matter what , coz this is the least i can get due to geographical location of the place i play from, and Yes , i do use leatrix latency fix and have tried lowerping (when i used to play WoW). It would be a great help if u could suggest me a class, and why it would be the best. Note: I am open to play any class except the trooper class (as il be playing the republic side. ty Cheers
JudasMagnus
I would put Jedi Knight out of the question.I'd recommend Consular/Sage or Smuggler/Gunslinger in those conditions.
Tatwamasi
if so which one would be a better pick with that latency? sage or GS, i like 'em both
CSouth
Sage, because gunslingers are terrible when a melee gets in their face, and you wont be able to do much about it with bad latency.

Senefera
i would also like to know whether any tank specs are viable with that latency? Jedi Knight is completely out of the question. My poor tank has to work his arse off to keep aggro. I don't know much about the other tanks, as I have not played much with them. As for latency class, I'd suggest Sage. It is ranged which will help you tons, plus you can use knockback + sprint to get away when you get melee in your face and hope someone in your team peel said melee for you. Rakimou
You should definitely reconsider trooper. But in fact pretty much every class except for JKs and shadow is a faceroll. Smugglers might be a bit gameplay intensive at times though. So I'd go with a sage.
