Hi all. So I'm not the most knowledgeable here but I do enjoy the game. Anyhow, I can't seem to find anything on Youtube for Assassin tanks gear, just rotation. I know for a Merc DPS they said the accuracy should be around 735ish. I was wondering what the absorption should be for my Assassin tank. Right now the absorption is about 52%, so I'm wondering if that should go higher (I don't have full augments, so I can do that), and if so, what number/percentage should that be around?

 

Any and all help is appreciated. Just please don't insult me too harshly as I am not the most experienced with the game.

There is a lot of variation in tank gearing, but by endgame (level 248 plus) you should aim for around 1800 points in shield/absorb. Some tanks shuffle the numbers a bit, but that's a good guide guideline (about 50% absorb, 48% shield without dark ward up).

 

For lower level gear try to get 1500 points minimum in shield/absorb. You can reach that in 230 gear if you use shield/absorb augments.

Tanks get 110% accuracy by default so you don’t need any accuracy in your gear, at all.

On my assassins and shadows I balance shield and absorb with a slight favoring of absorption.

I appreciate the words of wisdom. I had around 1800 absorption but only 300 shield rating. Granted, I only had 6 stuff actually augmented, so theres plenty of room for improvement. Thanks again all.
