Ok sorry if this is newbish but what is the point in the droid parts when I don't have any droid companions and I can't use it myself? Yeah I know I can make them and put them on the Galactic market but what are they used for if you don't have a droid that has the droid armor or am I missing something here?

Everyone has the ship droid that can use it.

 

But yeah if you're not using a droid there's no point in making droid gear.

The droid parts actually have pretty bad stats for the ship droid, most of them have far too much in the way of tanking stats.

 

Better to gear it with reflex armorings/mods for bigger heals. ~ it's actually pretty good, though it lacks a stun.
