We're having some issues with the last boss in TFB HM. We've done the fight successfully at level 50 so we know the mechanics. The problem is when we made it to phase 3 (tantrum) the boss was at 32% health. We were careful with tentacles in phase 1 and did not kill them when their health was further than 5% apart. We did not get 4 sets of tentacles in P1 which is the usual indicator that you didn't kill them together.

 

We're trying to figure out why the boss' health was so high in P3. The only thing we can think of was that sometimes we did not kill the anomalies before the last tentacle died in P2 which causes them to despawn. Does this add a bunch of health to the boss or could it be something else?

It does have a lot more health in P3 at level 55. Can't remember it being as high as 32% though.

 

You can kill the tentacles in P1 within 10% of each other with no problems, you can even afford 1 set to be more than that. Although I'm not sure P1 will have any effect on P2 in that way.

 

In P2, we only kill the first 2 anomalies on the first and second set of tentacles, after the first tentalce is down the guys on the anomalies help kill the second tentacle.

 

Are you assigning certain platforms to each DPS for the irregularities and killing them efficiently?

 

We sometimes still hit enrage on this guy but when he's at about 10% or so, so it's not so bad we just burn through it.

The Terror should revert to 20% no matter what you did with the tentacles. 32% makes me think that a NiM mechanic has snuck in and is making life hell for errybody

This was a bug that happened at TFB NM on PTS.

My guess is that the bug has transfer to HM and BW dont know what mechanics and HP on stuff are suppose to be where. They really need to look through the last patch and sort stuff out
