spartancam Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) I am 11/14, still need an armoring, mod, enhancement, implant and relic I played an operative healer from 1.2 till TFB launched then switched to shadow/sin tanking. After my guild at the time fell apart I switched back to my op as a concealment dps. Finally took a break from the game and came back shortly before 2.0 abs switched to lethality shortly after that, and have never looked back. Whenever I am doing a guild operation I'm always streaming. Not always the same nights of the week, but usually starting around 7. I've also got a scoundrel dps. Also would be nice to know, just for fun, who started this Operative/Scoudnrel DPS shenanigans lol Check out this video from Philosoraptor http://www.twitch.tv/agentphilosoraptor/c/2752925 people just play w/e is FoTM... ive been playing OP dps since pre 2.0... all the time, concealment, had few records in nim EC... had my Dtooth kill, my entity kill, my warstalker, always was my main dps... then after 2.0 when Ops probably myself and Dizella in 8 man, were the ones i noticed all the time, started doing those numbers, people started playing, other good people like raptor there playing it too, OP is really powerful when played well... i really cant count how many in game mails, swtor PMs, whispers ive had from people saying they started dpsing because of our numbers and asking for help... 3-4 weekly at least, so pretty sure there are A LOT of people playing operatives dps. right now lol.... ive always chosen my operative over my sniper / warrior for example, snipers just end up having the "right" CDs for hard fights /sigh. I'm not even close to full KD, don't have any set pieces. My AMR profile is just missing the KD belt, other than that it's accurate. EDIT: I used to heal every operation, and still do sometimes. Once we get Dragonslayer we probably won't kill NP again until the next NiM instance. Also how is the gear of your guild's TOP DPS like? They don't post on the swtor forums a lot but a quick glance at torparse will show that these are legit Nightmare mode Styrak kills (fight duration ~798+ seconds).
