MasterofChaos
Without pulse generator, you would be completely mobile in pvp and not have to worry about stopping to use pulse cannon on targets that could easily LOS you if they were fast enough. So like the title says, can dps still be good without the need for pulse cannon? Edited March 22, 2013 by MasterofChaos

So like the title says, can dps still be good without the need for pulse cannon? Just curious - how do people "easily LOS you" when they're slowed by 70%? MasterofChaos
Force speed.. predation.. knock backs... Players would have to see the pulse cannon move ahead of time to take advantage of it. But my point being, is dps still good without the need to stop and use a 3 second channeling ability?
Keypek
But my point being, is dps still good without the need to stop and use a 3 second channeling ability? No. Tactics barely passes for good dps with pulse generator as is in pvp. Try hitting HTL before you use it which will at least eliminate being knocked back. However tactics probably won't even be worth speccing into for 2.0 unless the changes are reverted from it's unnecessary nerf.
