Mr. Tait Watson, will you refund me the cost of one trench and the cost of 2 body changes, since I have all my current server slots full, to test if this bug is exclusive to body type 2?

 

If not, can anyone that has the Unfettered Trench post pictures with back , left and right of female type 1, 3 and 4 in here? I want to see if it is exclusive to one body type and I won`t spend my own money for it, unless I have a guarantee for refund.

 

In other news: Is it a bug, or a feature, Mr Tait Watson? If it is a bug, can we have at least an acknowledgment of it? Because if it`s not, refunds should be in order, for inconsistency between preview window and actual product - Cartel Market product.

I saw one more big butt-ed trench yesterday, but I can`t darn remember which one was it. I don`t even think it was a CM item.

 

On this item, though, one could say it`s false advertisement, however, as I am getting something else than what I can see / preview before actually comitting.

Since there isn`t any official point of view on this issue, I have a request.

 

I acquired said gear in good faith, using the ingame preview window, not 3rd party viewers or pictures. Said gear was acquired for 3 toons - scoundrel, sniper and operative.

 

The 3 coats have dyes as follows: White / Black on scoundrel and one black secondary on each of the others - sniper and operative, for a total of ONE WHITE / BLACK dye and TWO secondary BLACK dyes. They were modded with dyes prior to being equipped.

 

Since this bug is not officially recognized, you will ask the tech team to remove said dyes from the gear I cannot use, due to it`s inconsistency between preview and reality and put them into my inventory, so I can re-dye the gear I had to replace the buggy gear with. The trenches are all in their respective toons`s cargo holds. OR give a definitive time frame in which the issue will be fixed, since I now have blocked money in gear I cannot use due to reasons not in my power.

 

If they cannot identify the toons, I will tell you their exact names via PM.

I noticed your topic beforehand BTW but I guess the more people bring this up, the merrier. It's becoming more and more tiresome to acquire stuff which looks great in theory and terrible in practice.

The big butt bug has been an issue since beta. And yeah, it's insanely irritating. I have the legacy sand people bloodguard gear that I got years ago in the first Rakghoul event. I cannot wear this gear because of the bug. It's less noticeable on Jedi robes, but it's still there.

 

What boggles the mind is that clearly the model can look correct, since the preview image looks correct. Yet somehow they can't apply that to the actual model. 3 years they've been ignoring this bug. 3 YEARS!

It was fixed once, in 2013, or so. Then probably some imbecile mixed up the models and the old meshes were brought back, or whatever measures they took at that time.

its a bug most likely not intended and they will maybe get around to it eventually after some of the more pressing concerns have been fixed. if you want official clarification.. i dunno how to get there attention besides PM'ing them all.

Um if it helps, Andronikos & Quinn had the big butt issue with the trench last I saw them in game. Also my female body type 2 marauder gets it as well with the Centurian Weaponmaster chest. Edited June 10, 2014 by XiamaraSimi

Well, Vectors been wearing my agents bra for years now so id say never...

I have Unfettered Trench Coat on my female body type 2 IA and the back of the coat is buggy, it makes my butt look big and the back of the coat also shakes in cutscenes. It looked perfectly fine in the preview window but now it doesn't look anything like it. Also bought white / black dye, or black and white, whichever of the 2 that makes the actual coat white for one of my toons and also two secondary blacks for other 2. Bought all in good faith, based on preview window, only to see all of them bugged. I have invested money that I cannot use due to a bug in the game and that is not a nice thing to have.

 

I am trying to lobby to have the spirit of my investment fixed - the actual piece of clothing; having failed that, I will start the support ticket to get my investment back, because it is unusable due to a bug in the game, so I AM entitled a full refund of my investment - either the actual dyes pulled from the pieces and put nicely into my inventory, or the value I bought them for at the time.
