I know I'm being a ****** but I spent ages last night trying to find out how to leave coruscant and get back to tython.....but couldn't find how.

I found the space port but who do I speak to/where do I go to get a shuttle out of the damn place?

I'm sorry I don't have the specific answer for you... but for what it's worth, I can relate so, so much, so you aren't alone.

I spent over an hour running around and not being able to find anything that helped me figure this out. It didn't help that the map of that planet is so darn confusing.

A guildmate had to come and escort me out and I can't begin to explain that here, as I was so lost.

I'm sorry.

If travelling back before you have your ship, just backtrack same place you came. Use elevators close to spaceport exit to get to shuttle taking you to fleet.

I agree that you can use some time running wrong direction, but it's not like it's that many places it can be..

To travel to another planet you need to go to your ship. When you get to the spaceport, pull up your map and look for the hanger for your profession. That's where your ship will be.

This is assuming you have your ship. Level 15 Jedi Sentinel. No ship yet.

when on coruscant, run to the spaceport. open your map, and hover your mouse over all the elevator icons (they will be up/down arrows within a box). run to the one that doesn't say it's for a specific class. use that elevator, and you will be sent to a shuttle bay.

once there, open the map again and try to find the most useful shuttle. I don't know what exactly made it to release as I have not had enough time to play that far, but you will either find a shuttle to take you straight to tython, or you will need to take a shuttle to the republic fleet, then navigate your way from there.

If you went to the fleet, follow the same premise. open the map and hover over the elevators until you find the one that is not for a specific class. in the case of the fleet, I believe it's called the elevator to "departures" or something like that. then find the shuttle with an activatable door.

sometimes the labels on the buttons for when you activate a shuttle door will not match up with where you want to go... the shuttle for the republic fleet had an odd name I recall..

The shuttles in the bay DO take you back, you can even goto the other starter world fro your faction.

There were 3 ships in the bay in which I came into coruscant. I walked up to each and couldn't find anyway of interacting with them. I'll give it another go tonight....

  • 8 years later...

I was completely lost on Coruscant 9 years ago.

I return to the game. Lost again. Running every for an hour.

Can't find a trainer. Can't find any ship back to Ord Mantell.

So stupid.

I think I went to the dark side when I played before, because I wasn't lost and the zone was playable.

Open your mini map and toggle the icons for the trainer etc. As far as going back to the spaceport, you can try opening the mini map again and searching for the exit for your class or you can look for hangar doors and find it that way.

It's a hassle but it doesn't stay confusing forever.

Furthermore, if you have emergency fleet passes you can go to fleet then go back to the planet you were on and lost at then check your position on the map so you can memorize where your class exit/entrance is.

"Interfleet Transport" (To the Republic Fleet) and "Elevator to Main Level" (Republic Fleet Main Level) need to be labeled better between Coruscant and the Fleet. Even if you open the map, these things don't help you know where you are going.

And you can really only track ONE thing at a time on the map? There is no way to select more than one thing? This seems like a no-brainer thing needed.

I think I have it now. Thanks for the response. :)

Dig in the in-game preferences, specifically in the User Interface section (selected at left) and scroll down to the bottom of the "Map" subsection, where you will find "Allow multiple filters to be used simultaneously on the World Map".

Do the necessary, press OK, and you're in business!
