Ahhh, I have crits which are 10% lower on each skill comparing to the other mercs. Also I have no 78 mainhand, unfortunately. http://www.torparse.com/a/530558/4/0/Overview that log - 6sec and I'd be on the leaderboard...

Unfortunately I've already been beaten by two players, so 6 seconds wouldn't have been enough (Falver just, understandably, takes time between updates).

I also don't have a 78 mainhand btw.

;)

I know this isn't enough to get into the Leaderboards but...

Fallen to the dark side and abandoned my DF Relic for the UW Relic. >_< The sub 30% rotation screwed me over though. :(

3443.63

TK sage, 1 mil hp dummy, armor debuff, stimmed and adrenals.

Could get better if i had the relics, i bought the boundless ages relic two weeks before the changes were put on Dulfy and my other relic is Underworld SA.

I think i can push this to 3550 with a bit of luck and with 2x780 main stat and power relics :).

Edit: Gonna get this proper with ARM and do some editing on the post once i'm back.

Hey guys, i'm pretty new with sab spec and everytime I parse I always have around 39 apm. I usually compare my parses to the leaderboard's to see my mistakes and all but the top sab guy's apm says 44.23 , is that possible as sab? Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm quite new. and any tips for higher apm much appreciated. =)

There are 2 reasons for the difference in APM. The first is that Kuroyukihime's rotation uses Aimed Shot significantly less than any other top Saboteur. In his log, he uses it 14 times to my 22 and 24 for Claimed and Peebles. This makes a significant difference because Aimed Shot has a 2.5 second cast time, thus, you can get almost 2 attacks for every 1 Aimed Shot, which increases your APM.

The other reason is that Kuroyukihime uses more Quick Shots in his rotation than the rest of us as well. This matters because when he is using Quick Shot, he is leaving cover to gain Hot Pursuit and then re-entering cover to use his other skills and thus, his APM is higher. His log contains 20 Quick Shots compared to my 10 in my log on the first page, Claimed's 10, and Peebles' 16.

As an experiment, you can try parsing with just your auto-attack, Flurry of Bolts, while doing nothing else. After about 20 or seconds, it will go down to about 40 APM, which is correct since every standard attack has a 1.5 second GCD. Next, repeat what you just did, but leave and enter cover as much as you can while doing so. Your APM will end up around 60 APM. I'm not completely sure whether it's leaving cover or entering it that counts as an action, but my guess is that it'd be entering cover since you have to press a skill to do so. It has to only be one of these since if it was both, the APM for the 2nd experiment would be 80 APM.

Pretty much summed it all up. Kuroyukihime has a high number of "Activates crouch" and lower number of "activates aimed shot".

My note on APM is that, while it's a decent measurement when APM is extremely low, very high APM can be faked. If you use your defensive cooldowns while parsing (for example) you can boost your APM. But even if you can, you probably shouldn't. If you're at 39~40 APM running saboteur, you're pretty much where the other high-end gunslingers are as well.
