Xelestial_Dragon
What is depressing to contemplate though is the lack of true choice when we hit 50...that is when we will apparently all look like assembly line Jedi if we choose to go with competitive gear. Maybe I'll just stay at 49. This should no longer be the case, as patch 1.2 will allow us to extract modifications from all gear, including their set bonuses Only thing I'm worried about is orange crittable gear, but that's another story. I like the look I have but I am definitely going to grow tired of that bald look soon. I hate looking like everyone else as well, so might be going back to the less than respectable Slave Girl top soon and leaving the rest on if I can't find something that I like that looks different than the norm. Sigh. The woes of being a Jedi. Though I suppose I can't complain because when I played WoW you were stuck in the same gear for over half a year, whether you liked the look of it or not. Kaesoron
Thanks for all the effort you put into this information. I have wanted to level a consular, but I couldn't bring myself to because of the majority of the gear. At least there are some cool looking options available. I thought the same, my shadow is now 30 and I have found a nice look for her. The gear seems to be really female, healer orientated from what I have seen so far but the 50 PVP stuff look pretty good though. I was also wondering when we are going to get outfit as worn by Satele shan That would look great.

Cybrtron
So you think the strider is a mirror as in...imps get it? Possible...this is how these robes look imp side: http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/images/7625.jpg Could be that only imps get the strider robe now. Maybe from the Foundry. anyone know what head gear is that?

dakarii
I am a lvl 21 consular and i feel extremely frustrated that all the outfits that I have available to me look just like dresses! This is crazy! I never saw ANYONE in the movies that was a jedi were a dress like the ones that we are forced to wear. Bioware please change the aesthetics! please! trakata
Don't worry, level up a bit and you can find pants (Alderaan commendation vendor for white or black pants that don't require social rank). Actually, can OP update the initial post to show which pants you can find wear? Decent article with list of pants from torwars earlier this month: http://torwars.com/2012/02/16/consular-weekly-dude-where-are-my-pants-final/ With one mistake: The article lists "Enshrouding Force Legwraps" as green, but they are in fact black (or a really REALLY dark green) Pic here: (note this is not my char, I stole this off google image search) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v45/tmichc/SWTOR/Screenshot_2012-01-29_23_44_46_964957.jpg Edited February 27, 2012 by trakata

That's the 'look' I pretty much had for my consular from Alderaan to Hoth (when I got the Elder Exemplar's robe), bar a brief change to another upper robe at one point. To be honest, I think the article's correct. On my Consular with my colour/graphics settings, the trousers look 2 shades of green, with a beige-orange waist. Even on the image you posted, they look green, though I admit the lighting's not the best (just outside the cantina on Balmorra). Waiting on the Talos to do Maelstrom (again). Again, they do look green, but a lot more grey (to my eyes). And finally, on Belsavis during my questing (prior to getting to lvl 50): Pic. In that last picture I'd definitely say they were green, not grey, as my Elder Exemplar robe's grey. But, that's my opinion. Tim Edit: anyone know what head gear is that? Just saw this and noticed that no one had replied. It's not headgear, it's just the robe with the hood up (similarly to hiding the head slot or having no headgear at all). RockysRevenge
Haven't been around much, but I finally updated the OP with the torwars pants article since I was feeling lazy and didn't want to type it all out myself . do yall know ware i can get them? http://www.torhead.com/item/dAR8WXQ/ancient-seekers-legwraps I've seen a TON of these on the GTN lately. It's a black/dark gray robe with some green on the inside, matches the seeker upper robe quite nicely. Imo the seeker robe has one of the best color schemes for that style, and the lower robe look has grown on me a bit while standing around. I'm still going to keep my white pants though, we look absurd riding a speeder with a dress.

Philosomanic
I'm gonna be honest, I'm just wearing the Balmorran Resistance set right now. As soon as I realized it was there, I started running Esselles social farming runs once a day, every day. I recently hit Social 2. The set looks really cool. It's not Jedi-like at all, but that's okay with me. I still have the double-bladed blue lightsaber. I usually hide the mask, but pulling it out on planets like Hoth or Tatooine with hostile conditions looks pretty cool. I'm able to breath through this sandstorm thanks to my nightmare-inducing mask . However, if you want a good, classic Jedi look, I've found the Omenbringer's Robe and Muse Lower Robe do well. When I get tired of the Balmorran gear, I'm going to swap over to those. Nice tan robe with white pants. RockysRevenge
do u know ware to get it at tho? I really don't, sorry. I'm fairly certain most of those sets come from level 45-49 enemy drops, so I would check Voss. As a matter of fact, I think the Voss commendation vendor has a lot of pieces from this set. If they don't have them, then it's probably from Voss heroics.

RockysRevenge
So...I just re-watched the Return trailer. You know, the one with Darth Malgus' assassin master. Guess what he was wearing under his (Revan-style) robe? BLACK PANTS. Or more specifically, leggings. The point is...the "lower robe" look in the trailer was actually more like an armored loincloth with slits in the sides so it doesn't impede movement. This is believable. Perhaps they just need to modify the way the lower robe looks in the game, because it actually looks really cool in the trailer. That being said, we still don't have any clothes like Satele's. GlennWippenberg
I hit 50 not even two days ago and obtained my favorite robe (so far): Primeval Exemplar's. It's a recolored Jedi Initiate's Vestments in a light lavendar shade. Unfortunately there currently is no Custom version of the legs; the lower robe exists only as a Prototype Synthweaving pattern. It's obtained through Investigation so Synthweavers are at the mercy of the GTN. Patch 1.2 will fix that-You can recolor the Jedi Initiate's Lower Robes to match. I'm a bit of a collector myself and I scower the GTN for good looking Custom patterns and unmodded pieces. The Traditional Nylite chest and legs look nice (Kira Carsen, Jedi Knight companion wears the set). I scored a Traditional Brocart Vestments pattern which is a dark brown/red recolor of the Elder robes. If you want a white outfit without a hood you can mixmatch Voidmaster's, Traditional Lashaa, and Thermoweave pieces to cover your outfit. The Voidmaster's headpiece looks hideous as does the Lashaa Silk/Thermoweave.
RockysRevenge
Holy thread resurrection! I should fix some of the OP links. In general, a lot of the level 50 robes look cool. The primeval sets, the Jedi master set, they look good but the hood is down. I want my hood up for now, but when they make a hood toggle, we'll be good to go.
