One of the things you may notice is that we're a multi-gaming community, currently focusing on SWTOR and GW2. On the GW2 side of things, we recently had a Holiday Bash, with trivia and a costume contest, as well as finishing up some of the winter events.

Take a look at the Holiday Bash screenshots on our forums:

Every Sunday we hold a story-based RP Night for all of our guild members to attend. We've recently started a new sci-fi based story arc revolving around the planet of Ilum and its resources.

Last Sunday, members were paired up and had to go search for locations picked up from Imperial Intel, with only a picture to go off of. All teams were successful at finding and investigating each of the sites.

Some of the interesting tidbits that came out of it...

"You should hang out with us troopers, we do a lot of things with little to no info." - Kotaa

"It's not my fault the Republic military considers me an undesirable. Well actually it probably is my fault." - Colt

Coltgamble drops the sample in the bag. Prosper winces as they clatter against the sealed glass containers. "I... did not think that one through." - Colt

For those of you who are endgame PvE'ers... RoH recently became the 2nd on the server to clear the later bosses of 8 man NMM EC. (Progression thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=533942) We also had a really fun run of 16 people doing HM TFB pretty recently for a server first!

Even if you are just starting your post-50 adventure.. we still run the earlier ops and try to get all our guildies interested in raiding up to par with gear, from carrying them through ops with our highly-geared characters to gearing them through our INSANE crafting Dept. by Operation Hyperspeed (where we RE the highest armour mods available in the game to benefit our entire guild).

Recently we held our first-friday-of-the-month Guild Meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend from leaders to trial members, and news and announcements are shared across the board. We also host an open forum at the end where any topic could be brought up. Meetings aren't mandatory, but highly encouraged if you want to find out what's going on in RoH. Having 30+ members in one TS channel is a really neat to see, with recordings available for those unable to make it available on our forums.

For the RPers out there... of our three main game Departments (PvE-PvP-RP) in SWTOR, our RP department is probably our smallest. There has however been an amazingly awesome announcement by our RP Leader Sirian Vatt - we'll be holding an epic-style RP on our forums called the Battle of Dac with RP roles of dozens of characters. This is no small plot!

Recently a lot of our members have started participating in the Battle of Dac, an epic-style RP on our forums hosted by our RP Dept. Head with three RP team leaders. This is an excerpt from one of the Red Team's narration posts.

The carnage in the station hangar abated as the last of the imperial guards fell dead to the floor, a body among many others, and the Remnants team scattered to complete their objectives. Station alarms were screeching, red lights whirled overhead, and an autonomous voice sounded over every speaker demanding battle positions. With everyone's attention elsewhere, the arrival of the Sith fury-class ship went unnoticed. It decloaked as it rotated within the hangar and set down upon the deck., its ramp extending immediately.

The two figures that emerged were not your typical-looking Sith. Each of them wore neutral color robes, much like those of a Jedi, and armor to match. Their hoods were back, and their faces were identical; though they had different colored hair, one raven black and the other stark white. They each wore theirs long and adorned with a single braid. Their expressions were calm and peaceful. Sith lightsabers hung at their waists, however.

As the twins walked among the dead, the dark one paused to inspect one of the bodies, going to one knee. He turned it over and ran his hand over what appeared to be a lightsaber impalement. His eyes closed as he put his hand to the dead man's head, positioning his fingers alongside each temple. A moment later, he rose to his feet and regarded the other.

"It's them," he stated coldly. They each looked about then, closing their eyes and delving their senses into the Force. A moment later, they each turned and looked down the same corridor.

"We knew they'd start here."

New RoH member here and this is a very nice, inclusive, enthusiastic guild. There's a great website, excellent calendar of events, and always someone on. Recently a welcome banner for logging in encouraged guild members to use patterns in the guild bank! How nice is that?
