What is Ascension?

We were formed by an elite group of players dedicated to being at the forefront of raiding. We care about perfecting our art--in both our gear and our mechanics. We understand that for this game to be fun, we must do our part to bring our best to raids but at the same time bring out the best in each other.

We are currently 5/5 in HM TFB and are running two 8 man teams each week. There are no set rosters as we like to mix and match players each week so everyone has a chance to work with each other. Our current raid days are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8PM EST

We are in need of 2 DPS and 1 Healer who are HM TFB ready to join our current teams and build back up to a stable 16 man roster so we can clear 16 man TFB. However we will invite anyone who meshes well with our current members and demonstrates good raid awareness/skill even if they are slightly under-geared.

Applicants who qualify for membership and are HM ready will be instantly thrown into our HM TFB groups.

Criteria for Membership:

- Responsibility - Come prepared and read up on fights prior to raid. Be on time to raid night. If you have an emergency, notify other guild members asap.

- Self-motivation - Do your part and demand excellence from your play.

- Raid Awareness - Be aware of your surroundings and raid mechanics

- Maturity - Please adjust your mic accordingly and mute yourself if necessary. Also, be aware that there may be some of us who have young children around--mind your language when appropriate.

- Availability - Members must be available on their scheduled day to raid. If you are unavailable to raid, please notify a officer or post on the forums so we can make the necessary adjustments.

What is your stance on casual membership? I'm a former hardcore WoW raider and former GM/raid leader of a 25-man and multiple 10-man raiding guild, who just no longer has the time to spend in the trenches. However, I like being around driven people for a quality environment, especially concerning PVE-related goals. That, and it's nice to have knowledgeable, competent folks to run things with (flashpoints, warzones, ops alt runs, etc.).

We are still looking for a few skilled players to join our roster.

HM TFB is currently on farm status with both 8 man groups clearing it in one night. We are also doing HM EC, SM EC and HM EV/KP for our weekly black hole coms.

If your worried about gear requirements, don't be. Skill is much more important than what gear you are wearing and with our weekly runs we can get you caught up quickly.

We are looking for 1 more player preferably a tank or DPS to round out our 16 man raid group.

We will be going into 8-man Nim EC when 1.5 drops to hopefully clear it before lockouts are reset
