Hi everybody

 

I've been getting into PVP a lot lately and i wonder how to properly gear my Assault Specialist trooper.

I try to ask around the fleet but no one really answer or just trolling.

 

I've been accumulating enough commendations to get the Elite war hero stuff and before i start buying them i just wanting to know what is THE best set to get and what set will maximize my damage output.

For assault I chose the Eliminator set as it gives a buff to HiB which is used a lot in the assault tree. Though I did take the Combat tech body as the blue is pretty snazzy.

Eliminator for Assault.

Combat Tech for Tactics.

 

With the set bonuse from Eliminator, you can stack nothing but power as assault and still have a decent tech crit chance (read: every single one of your skills that you rely on damage that isn't HiB) from talents (your elemental crit chance, which, again, makes up the majority of your damage, also gets a 6%(?) increase to crit chance that isn't displayed on your character sheet), and your HiB crit chance will be about 40%, don't remember specifics, allowing you to do massive burst damage.

 

Tactics has no use of the set bonus from Eliminator because they have an automatic HiB crit proc, but Combat Tech obviously helps with their hard hitter, Stockstrike, and gives a buff for two other skills.
