jabobob
The question is why would they look the same? This is totally different era in the Star Wars Galaxy. The sith were open and aggressive with entire battalions of elite sith lords exploring the galaxy. They should at least show some cultural differences. I myself love the Battlemaster PVP inquisitor gear, it looks like an ancient sith robe. The other armor im less keen on. I think Bioware should try to keep it looking culturally ancient/ deeply evil/ or classic sith. No more stupid pointy clown hats.
Socialist
I sign here. I do not feel like a Sith Lord. While the Battlemaster set is clearly a good one (reminds me of some kind of ancient sith, which is good), everything else is not. Even good ole Saber Marshal ain't exactly flowing robes, has some leathery touch to it and some things that look like silly LEDs. You see, Palpatine himself sometimes would clad himself in more extravagant robes (like this: http://www.starwars.com/img/explore/encyclopedia/characters/darthsidious_relationship.png) But there is a limit between extravagant/exquisite and just plain Fantasy trash film clothing. I just want to look like Palpatine in the Return of The Jedi or like Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace. Edited May 1, 2012 by Socialist
Rivalius
I for one find the pvp sorcerer gear to be amazing I agree I've been a long time SW fan, but the new Warhero gear for sorcerers are unbelievably cool. The warrior WH gear on the other hand ... lmao nastiest gear in the game. R.

adamaj
I don't know, I like a lot of it. Arox
I agree with the OP. I myself have got all black armor, robe, hood etc.. augemented crafted gear. looks way better to me. need to feel like a Sith Lord, not a fish-man or bird-man.
Stringray
I like most of the armor sets for most of the classes pre 50. I think the HUGE majority of the artwork in this game is amazing. At the risk of sounding like a hater: The War Hero gear is really and truly the ugliest set I have seen in any game, ever, and a cracked out drag queen would not wear it. I know this is true because I printed out a picture of it and took it directly to the person with whom I thought would have the most questionable and yet strangely unassailable fashion judgement, and I then watched this indivual smoke crack whilst wearing women's garments, and after careful consideration, this individual declared, "I am a cracked out drag queen, and I wouldn't wear that on a dare." Look, who is anyone to argue with that kind of expertise? Oh, speaking of expertise...

Clonedzero
yeah, the end game sets look terrible. but thats not something thats unique to the inquisitor. almost ALL the sets look terrible for every single class. i think t he trooper and bounty hunter are the only ones that dont get stupid and goofy looking armor sets, because you cant mess up armor like that too much. anything that COULD be over stylized did get over stylized. inquisitors got weird birdman robes. jedi knights apparently turn into space power ranger samurai. smugglers all start wearing thigh high boots and capes. consulars wear giant banana peels on their shoulders basically end-game all the sets look absolutely HORRIBLE. it ruins the star wars feel and theme. none of it looks practical or realistic. HOWEVER. i will say, the lower level inquisitor gear looks great. most non-endgame gear looks pretty good actually. why they thought thye had to go super over the top with all the endgame sets is beyond me cus they all look terrible. Larry_Dallas
Isnt that like, incredibly difficult to get hands on? Well, yeah. That's why I said the gear TC's looking for is definitely in the game, just bloody hard to come by. Took me 3 months to complete the Supreme set (still don't have the belt, but whatev, bought the pilot thing), and that's with checking GTN every 2 days or so and running the hoth heroics about once every 10 days (got everything but the chest and bracers doing this--bracers were a random drop from trash on taris). The Grand Inquisitor set is even rarer. It's ridiculously rare. I've been looking for that set even longer and only have the helmet and boots. Far as I can tell there's no difference between it and the elder battlemind or traditional brocart helmets, but I could be wrong.
Ryu_Wanderfalke
Hm, as a SI at lvl 37 I'm still rolling with the Revanite quest armor and I feel pretty Sith'ish. My Marauder at 50 however, looks plain ridiculous...

CornBreadtm
I was happier with the starter outfit for my SI than ANYTHING I got afterwards. I just want normal old Black Anakin robes or any kind of regular Star Wars robes. And this goes for all of my Force users. JK looks like Superman. SW looks like Trapjaw. SI looks like Mrs Doubtfire. JC looks like Rudy Rhod. IMO of course.

Shungli
For sith inquisitor outfits I think that what was in kotor would be fine with me. What would be even better is if people who pre ordered or bought the collectors edition should have a unique set of armor for them and have it like the speeder where you can only start using it at a certain level. Some of the stuff I have seen for si I thought were a wee bit ridiculous and since we really do not have much to go on for the old republic time frame, well I would be happy with darth revan outfit really. If there was a way to be able to keep revan's mask instead of hand it over to the lady. I do not really picture sith inquisitors wearing anything heavy duty. Perhaps a breather for face but mostly hoods and robes. I do like the sound of military uniforms at first to connect them with military. Assassins should have more of a hide yourself kind of look rather then flashy look at me kind of look. Darth Revan did not wear anything too extravagant and people still feared him when he became Dark Lord of the Sith and he just wore a mask and robes heh. Keep up the good work bio ware. Alericus
I laugh because watch the trailers for the game..at no time do we ever get to look like that.....and thats the real laugh..it seems to me that Bioware just took whatever design was presented and said "sure". I suspect it was lazy programmers who had done nothing but high fantasy and it was just easier to do this than try to create a proper Star Wars look. Perhaps its this thinking and culture that is causing this game to falter. Now there are aspects of my war hero gear I like but its still got that stink of the game that cannot be mentioned on it and that actually makes me mad. In essence, the bounty hunter gear is good, the operative makes sense...the sith warriors should all be variations of Darth Malgus and the sith inquisitors should be variations of Darth Vindican. Basically, armour, cloaks, capes and hoods...I dont need feathers, bright colours or sticks sticking outta my shoulder..that is just lame. We arrive on Korriban and all the Sith lords have a look..I thought oh thats not so bad thats what we are gonna look like..wait nope I have to wear a flesh colour top that has barnacles on it and two dolphins on my belt...... Newsflash..best not to let your designers work while under the influence.....................we want high tech not high fantasy...and defintely lower the emphasis on high
Quirky_One
Bah! You complain about your class gear not being cool enough in one way or another. I have a more pressing concern. My name gear is both ugly and crappy to say the least. I have my complete name set, Nerf Herder, and it has no mod slots, no set bonuses and the stats are a tad low. They don't even look cool. I have only found one "green" quality piece and you almost never find one at an auction. One would think that the second hand or hand me down style of this set would lend it self to a good turn around on the auction house but alas, it does not. If I didn't know better I would take it as a personal insult. :-) I am actually looking forward to the class sets at lvl 50, it has been a hassle to level up with my name set. Nerf Herder (My last name being my Legacy of course.) If you want to be able to say you have been Nerfed to death, just give me a tell. I also provide stealth Nerfing if that is your thing. :-) Fear the Nerf!
