Amelaista Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 (edited) It is part of an MMO mechanic that splits up Damage into different types. Knowing damage type can be useful if your class has Resistances to a particular damage type or can shield from it. Some enemies can also take more or less damage from specific types.
