While swtorista is great, I've found that resource isn't always the best for RP. You might want to try starforge-rp.com, and if you register there, you can find the SF-RP discord.

I know you're on SS, but if you're serious about RP, you'll have a lot more luck over on SF -- most of the community migrated there, even though Begeren Colony (a former RP server) merged into SS.
