i think i have an idea.......

unequip your weapons.....

ill leave you with this text from the empire strikes back:

Luke: There's something not right here... I feel cold. Death.

Yoda: [points to a cave opening beneath a large tree] That place... is strong with the dark side of the Force. A domain of evil it is. In you must go.

Luke: What's in there?

Yoda: Only what you take with you.

Yoda: Your weapons, you will not need them.

Luke: But tell me why I can't...

Yoda: No, no, there is no why. Nothing more will I teach you today. Clear your mind of questions.

enjoy, and thanks for reading.

I would like to suggest something. Since we've already established that this is related to the cave on Dagobah where Luke battles Vader I think the legacy update 1.2 scene shown on this website(sorry I can't provide a link but you should find it if you search 1.2) where we see a toon in a civilian pilot gear fighting a sith toon in some armor is reminiscent of it. This scene represents family dynamic like the Dagobah scene did. So I think if your republic you should go in wearing what looks like the pilot gear and maybe stand on the blue side of the cave and if your imp wear the armor the sith is wearing and stand on the red side.I think it's worth a try.

Taking a shot in the dark here, and not sure if this was tried yet or not, but why not try to complete TFB without collecting anything, meaning no loot, no money, no comms, nothing, and then after defeating the final boss, going back to the cave?

What about wearing the new cartel flight suit? Or is there something on the market that looks like apprentice robes or the like?

I saw a post earlier that seemed to get overlooked, someone mentioned doing something to the yard trash outside the cave and causing them to 'flee' into the cave.

The comment from the devs that always draws my attention is the "oh damn, troll and true at the same time".

Has anyone thought of the possibility that the troll part of the comment is that it's true insofar as the *only* thing in there is what you bring with you (i.e. there is nothing in there aside from the players)? TfB has been out for several months now and nothing has happened with this, which makes me think that there isn't anything in there and that the warning only shows up as some part of an elaborate troll on the part of the developers (it might have an optional boss at one point that got cut, but currently has nothing in it).

I don't think we need to spend cartel coins, I think the civilian pilot gear we get with fleet comms might work since it looks similar to the scene in the video. I have no idea what the sith is wearing though.

I can't remember the name- it's orange heavy armor for Sith warriors dropped randomly on correlia. It's the Sith version of Jedi battle lord. I'd need to check the GTN.

Then I guess my theory is wrong, I doubt it would be something so specialised since it's heavy armor and sith. I thought it would adaptive social gear or somthing like that.

The civilian pilot gear is still worth a shot though. But only the republic gear looks like the video.

It is thought that the cave is for NiM TFB 16m. There is possibly a bonus boss there. When NiM goes in is anyone's guess

I find it highly doubtful that they would add content for 16m NiM without also including it for 8m.

Well, the cave has already been confirmed to be 16-man HM only... I went in every other mode and nothing. It's possible it will be in Nightmare too, but if it was supposed to be a NM thing, I doubt it'd show in hard mode.

That's one of the reasons why I'm pretty sure it's just the developers trolling us by making us think that something is there when really there isn't.

what ever it is only appears in 16 man hard mode so it is fairly reasonable to assume that it might require 16 people to aquaire what ever is needed to activate whatever it might be now dispite people claiming to have downed dreadtooth on more than 4 stacks i havent heard one lick of what he drops on more than four stacks and until they say as much im inclined to disbilive them, i think the two things are related dreadtooth drooping that mask that gives a buff against dreadtouch parhaps he drops something at higher stacks (our guild is 3 masks away from trying him on 5 stacks)

Yeah 16 people with the mask equipped already tried - zilch, nadda, zip.

Now about that amulet I heard of - has anyone tried this with the Amulet?

The only theory that I know of is that In 16 man Nightmare there is a bonus boss in the cave which requires all raid members to equip their Dread Guard Helm (the one that drops from Dreadtooh), as it protects them from "Dread Touch." The mask should work just like the Gormak Crystals work for Nightmare Pilgrim protecting you against Mental Assault. The cave is not currently large enough to fit any kind of boss, which only leaves room for speculation that it is a Nightmare only mechanic and therefore not currently implemented.
