It obviously doesn't help if one team cycles through SIXTEEN PEOPLE, but that's what happens when there's no warzone leaver penalty.

I queued solo, for some reason it put me against two pre-made groups.

inbefore "well queue with your own group then hurr durr!"

Your entire team sucked, you would've gotten stomped even if there wasn't a premade on the other team. So stop blaming them and get better. Just you getting better won't change a game like this, but if even half your team were good you could've won.

Edit: the premades you were facing were average at best, their numbers weren't even that great.

ive seen full pug groups post better stats then that "premade group."

those damage totals arent impressive, those healing numbers are laughable. your server must not be that good if thats what a premade is doing. without a doubt a lot of pug teams out there could beat them.

There's literally no way to "get better" when you join half way through a match and their entire team is spawn camping you on voidstar entrance and people keep leaving and entering the game

There lies your problem, refusing to believe that you can do better. Maybe you shouldn't jump down the middle and charge into their group alone? The fact remains that the group you were facing really wasn't that good but you still got farmed.

I'm too lazy to look at the picture but if the other team was stupid enough to spawn camp on voidstar, any half wit stealth could sneak past and plant. I concur with everyone else; the "premade" sucks in that instance--I've seen far better with PuG's (for the most part). L2P and don't whine because of incompetency.

So how would keeping people who don't want to be there make it better? They'll just go hide somewhere and not do anything. Again, how and why would this be better?

You data and your conclusion have literally no relevance other than the team sucked so people left. Secondarily, how do you know they were pre-made? Do you have actual evidence to prove it? I've queued before, solo, and ended up with 2 other guildies just out of randomness.

I agree the OP's pictures don't show the whole picture but people are always quick to say L2P. First off the OP's problem isn't in premades, it's in leavers so he/she's wrong in identification of the root of the problem. Eliminating premades from regs is never going to happen nor should it. From an mmo perspective it's integral to developing a community in that it reinforces guilds and regular interaction with other players that increases usage rates and leads to subscriptions.

Leavers on the other hand can be easily resolved with a penalty for quitting, look at WoW or LoL which have 10-15 minute penalties. If you look at ranked WZs, no matter the performance, players rarely ever leave, partially due to both the short duration of arenas and elo. If a leaver penalty was instituted, it likely wouldn't change much in these scenarios, as your team would likely still get stomped ( sorry :( ) but it would at least force users to participate instead of leaving those who do choose to stay to be stranded in a hopeless wz.

In the end players want some type of incentive for playing and that currently is comms or elo. A leaver penalty creates a disincentive for players to leave by reducing the amount of queues and thus possible comms. It wouldn't however encourage players to play competitively necessarily.

A possible solution could involve MVP votes as a reward purchase currency, although that would also encourage farming from friends and guilds  .

Also as a side note, (not defending) but it's impossible to know whether the opposing team's numbers are good or bad especially without the total time of the WZ. You can't look at performance numbers nominally because it's relative and dependent upon opposing team gear, respawn frequency, player leaves etc.

I think he's identifying the root of the problem as people leaving because they were matched against a double premade, at least that's the impression I got from his post.

People leave because they don't want to be stuck in a queue spiral with those losers. Makes sense to me.

That's the worst... When you get into a pop rotation with the same bad players every match... I don't like to leave a match though... Unless I'm short on play time... Usually I just wait 5 mins after the match so I leave that group rotation...

What annoys me is after I've done that... I pop into a half finished match with the same bad people because others have left

I really wish Bio would bring in some sort of penalty for quitting half way through a match... Even if it was a 10-15 min queue penalty

Those bad players will never learn if all the good players abandon them each match

Although I do love popping into a match with 10-20sec to go... Even if it's a loss... Just to finish a daily... You still get creds, XP and comms for 20secs of your time... I'll never understand why people rage quit at that point of a match... It's not like it effects any stats, etc... All they are really doing is losing those creds, XP and comms

When I get 2 wz in a row with a bunch of pvers I just leave and switch faction to farm them. I really go for it aswell. Hopefully making it as enjoyable as possible so they **** off for when I switch back. Edited by Tellenn

a "sync queue" for short is when multiple groups (usually two, any more is rare to have that many coordinated pvp'ers on) queue at the same time, in hopes of getting in the same match, and ultimately, the same team. My guildies sync queue. We play against each other just as often as with each other. We never leave, we like playing with (or even against) each other because its less boring that way.

That said, our mumble communication is hardly key to our winning, we win because every member in our guild knows the game extremely well, and knows exactly what to do, when to do it. Nonverbal focus fire isn't exceedingly difficult against headless chickens, nor is basic objective watching.

OP's team was simply the opposite, they were all bad. No amount of gear or voice chat could have possibly carried them through. This was merely an example of good players against bad players. Nothing wrong with this.

TL;DR mad cuz bad's will be mad and bad
