So, is it Amber who we should be talking to about the APAC server issues? I'd hate to think the reason for the protracted silence on your part is because we have been talking to the wrong people.

Anyhow - nice to virtually meet you all. Please be assured that we value your communication, and really miss it when it is not there.

Nice to meet you all. Hope the communication continues. I only have one request to the "bug lady"....plz plz plz make it so I don't crash to desktop after 3 planet changes or 4-5 character switches when I am crafting, etc! I would really like to continue to play the game but since 1.4 it has become unstable for me. My husband, a network specialist, and his geek friends looked at it and said it's a mem leak on YOUR side.

Cheers, Dark

With LarsMalcharek and TonyMoreno apparently "gone", I would like to ask, if there is anyone else left in the community team, safe for those three names mentioned in this thread.

And more specific, are there any CMs left, who do understand (and hopefully even can write) german and/or french ?

Or are the german and french parts of the community officially deemed unworthy by now ?

Hey guys, thank you for your continued work. :) You are all quite familiar to me here and on Twitter.

I would like to ask a couple of things, however.

First of all, is Joveth's position now "cannibalized" by the remaining team members, or will it be filled, or simply left empty? Who is going to do what Joveth was doing, exactly? (no snarky answers from the forum, please :p)

Secondly, what can we expect from this point forward? Will communication change? I think many people would like it to improve....seeing a community manager depart isn't exactly conducive to that.

PS - Courtney, love the companion blogs, looking forward to the rest of them.

To address the first part of it, I will actually be stepping in as the SWTOR Community Manager :rak_03:

As for what will change (if anything) moving forward. I can tell you that Courtney, Amber, and I all have some cool ideas! But overall I think you are all a bit unexcited about reading promises of new ideas and communication. So instead, we are just going to start doing stuff!

You got that right. We have heard those promises before, and I appreciate the fact that you acknowledge that. I am hopeful that you guys can follow through this time. Congratulations on the....promotion? Eric?

Thats great, remember those 2 years before launch when you were hosting Torocast and talking to people

on the forum. You do talk fast :rak_03: and knows how to communicate, if you have the freedom to just talk to the community as you want to i think you will be the best community manager this game will ever have !

btw i hope we get your swtor podcast back, those shows should also be linked in the launcher so all

the rest can enjoy them who dont come to the forum.

If you need another Community Manager, I AM unemployed right now...I spend a lot of my time in the New Player Help and Customer Support forums, helping newbs and people with technical problems with their game. I'm also about halfway through my certification as a PC Support Specialist, if that helps any.

Just have your people call my people. (Or just shoot me a PM...that works, too...)

Doing things? Gosh, there's a novel idea.

I must say it has been interesting seeing the responses on the PTS board, but I'd like to know if there's any possibility of input on posts in the Suggestion Box? As far as I'm aware the only times that has had any attention from the Community Team is when Mr. Gonzalez personally came along and did some clean up - not exactly the kind of thing one has in mind when submitting ideas.

You already know what you're going to do and my ideas are certainly not going to have any affect, but are we at least going to see more interaction with the community on a more casual and regular basis? It would good to see responses in things like the SGRA thread which amount to more than "play nice" and "magical mystical whenever future!"

As soon as they can write in German and French.

Google Translate: coming to a forum near you!

Seriously though, I hope they have people who are fluent in both languages so that they can communicate both effectively and respectfully to those communities. Also, surely they should have someone who speaks Spanish?
