hey everyone. i just made an assassin not too long ago. and i got hit with a somewhat hard choice. i have the choice of sticking with the lightning charge, or using the tanky dark charge. im thinking about going the shared tree for the death field attack. i feel that the dark charge seems quite positive except for the extra threat generation. Just asking anyone whos done the shared tree on the assassin whats best?

If you plan on going deep into Madness, Lightning Charge is required for some talent procs like Raze. Each talent tree uses a diff charge (darkness uses dark charge for tanking, deception uses surging charge for burst dps, and madness uses lightning charge for DoT dps). Plus, it does much more damage if you pick up the first few talents in Darkness. However, if you plan on doing the darkness/madness hybrid for pvp, dark charge is a must.
