i have 23 lvl vanguard (i'm focusing on assualt spec) and i'm wondering is it wise to use ion cell in warzone thanks to this i have more armor and more medals form protection but i loose some dmg?

 

sould i stay with plasma only?

Ionized ignition and ionic accelerator are ur bread and butter. Both of these talents require plasma cell. So it's pretty pointless to go assault in a different cell.

Tactics with ion cell on the other hand works.

 

But you don't ever do that for a dps increase, your regen is gimped and tactics isn't nearly as good as assault for damage.

 

What I do it for is with a modified tactics tree to become a ball carrier and general hard to lock down annoyance in gankball.

 

Huge damage resistance if stunned, hilarious damage resistance to smashers and engineering snipers if stunned and then hold the line to watch snares, slows, stuns bounce off as you run through anything.

 

Between ball carrying you lurk near fire pits for ball carriers to hijack with your reduced CD harpoon because your sustained dps is not sufficient to duel. Finishing someone off after they landed in a hazard yes but you're not good for a long fight.

I'm going to keep this simple.... that is a horrible idea. Stick with plasma cell if you are assault 100% of the time. Your damage numbers will increase exponentially as you level. And you'll have two taunts to get protection medals eventually... should have single target already.
