filipesantana
So I was playing on a Jurassic computer (core2 duo 2.1 with an ATI hd 4800 series)..which can u imagine made cap fps at 15(wzs) ability delay etc...all thus with everything on minimum including client.ini tweaks to go even below minimum... I'm upgrading (today) to an i5 3570k and a gtx 570..pretty sure I will be playing a completely different game.... My question is,the CPU stock speed is 3.4...should u oc it if I want to play on ultra with steady fps above 60 everywhere? What about the gpu? Should oc it to? Thanks
Canarak
How is this about PVP?
johnnyreece
I run an i5 2500K at stock speeds and don't have any trouble. I'm saving the OC for when I absolutely need it...

Ashaari
It seems pretty random to me as to whether you will have a problem or not. In my case when I first loaded SWTOR on my current machine I had all sorts of problems, not all related to over clocking, but part of the solution was to set it back to original speed. Doesnt mean you will have any issues, you just have to try it out and see and be prepared to change it back if necessary.
JustinxDuff
I have an 3570k and an HD7970. 60+ fps all the time and no OC on the CPU. Edited November 22, 2012 by JustinxDuff
