#1 Why does so much of the dialog make bounty hunters sound like assassins? They aren't in real life, and that's not the function they served in the lore.

#2 What's up with all the carbonite. In ESB, that was an innovative thing to try and they were uncertain if it would work. They just used it because there was a machine that did that for some industrial purpose in the Cloud City, not because it was a 3000 year old bounty hunter tradition.

While I have no answer for the second question, Bounty Hunters are clearly hired guns. They kill, they get credits, rinse repeat. The fact that it's such a lucrative business calls for someone with a bit of cold in their blood.

You rather be playing escort missions? Because besides assassinating someone to get the bounty, bounty hunters don't have a huge lore role.
