You have to manually run through the area before it (i forget what it is) to get to the elevators to pick up the travel route. Sorry, but you're going to have to hoof it. The Works zone has the elevator that leads to the Jedi Archives. Have to hoof it to there, however. After you pick up the taxi there, you can fast travel at any other time afterwards.
