So rushing through to get the Umbara Stronghold only to be shocked when I find out you put a cap on the amount of Strongholds....WHAT??? Where was this posted??? This is crap!!! It's nothing more then selling something and not telling the customer that they have to give up what they have in order to buy a different one after the customer paid you their money. Never mind all the work to get through the Stupid Flashpoint 10 times to get the 60 tokens. You guys are idiots!

There is precedent for them not raising the cap. When the Yavin stronghold came out, it was the fifth, but the cap was four and did not go up for a little while after.

 

And no, they didn't say the cap would stay the same, but neither did they say it would be raised either.

I agree that it totally sucks to earn the 60 tokens and not be able to buy the stronghold. Would rather to have used those tokens to buy something useful. Is there a way to get a refund of the tokens??

There seem to be only two reasons to release the Umbara stronghold --

* Add a way to buy a stronghold for fewer credits.

* Give stronghold enthusiasts something new to decorate.

 

By failing to increase the max SH count, they've totally failed at #2. No serious stronghold decorator is going to reset an entire stronghold that took dozens of hours to design.

You can have 10 strongholds. If you don't have duplicates due to server merges, you can get the new Rishi stronghold (and more) without dropping an existing stronghold.

 

They also increased the limit of Felucia Stato decorations so you can put at least one cheap vendor in each.

The max number of strongholds was increased to ten in patch 5.5, half a year ago. There are 7 strongholds available, so there is still room (in theory).

 

In practice, many of us got duplicate strongholds with the sever merges, and now have more than 10 SHs.

So hopefully BW will increase the limit to allow us to keep our extra strongholds, but it isn't a problem for new players or those that played only on one server before the merges.
