Dear Vader

I wish to issue a security ticket for an illegal intrusion on our DS network.

At 12:01 an illegal intrusion was detected. It is still unknown at this time if any of our personal details have been compromised. The severity of this attack will be given the highest priority and Ive already despatched a highly qualified tech analysis team to investigate the matter.

It wouldbe advisable however to change your personal banking details in the event access to such uncrypted information has been accessed.

For further details please quote ref 103945: DS IT HELPDESK.

Darth Vader has a password that overrides everything in the Empire. R2's memory was never wiped. R2-D2 knows Darth Vader is Anakin and knows that he always uses the same password: Padme.

Anakin never was too bright.

also what seems unlikely is that they would leave the hole that would destroy the death star absolutely unprotected. I am sure someone would have noticed that could be a problem. To spend all that time and money on a weapon to be destroyed by a well placed shot. Major design flaw.

Not unusual in ships. Big ships can be sunk by one or two well placed torpedo's.

The biggest problem with the Graf Spee was finding it. After it was cornered the Germans sank her themselves. It wasn't even combat that sunk her, but false information.

During WWI many British ships were destroyed because German shells ignited gunpowder. One (un)lucky shell and down went the ship. Turns out the powder was being stored in the wrong place.

All it took to sink the Titanic was one iceberg.

Not to mention, apparently "absolutely unprotected" doesn't take into consideration the hundreds of Turbo Laser turrets and thousands of TIE fighters that the Death Star had at its disposal.

Oh, and the whole planet destroying super laser. That was kind of a big deal.

Whoever wrote this article is a bit of an idiot, I can give answers to most of those questions:

9: Einstein didn't exist for a minute because Doc never sends him back one minute after, whereas after the adventures Marty went back to 1985 allowing him to be there as normal in the future.

7: They sent the stormtroopers to make it seem harder for the heroes to escape, of course the stormtroopers were terrible shots so it was very unlikely that they would prevent the escape of the heroes.

5: Anakin never knew his children survived, for all he knew they would have died inside Padme, it wasn't until after the events of a new hope that darth vader found out that luke was his son.

3: The imperial officers didn't expect the plans to be hidden in the escape pod, as they would be expecting someone to guard the plans. They also wanted to recover the plans, not destroy them.

1: Its R2-D2, he's a very experienced droid, by the time of the the original trilogy he hasn't had his memories wiped in at least 30 years which gives him a ton of experience.

I agree that the guy had no idea about anything fully on Star Wars it was just the R2 one that I was interested in.
