Grav Round Sound and Animation. No Sir, I don't like it.

One of the main reasons I switched from my Trooper to Bounty Hunter was this ability. I find its sound, as well as its animation (but especially the sound) damn annoying. Would love to play my Trooper again but I really don't like that constant zzzzzzzssssssssssssss-blobb zzzzzssssssssss-blob zzzzzzzzzzzssssssssssss-blobb. :jawa_mad:

 

Ok, could play as Assault Specialist but the damage is far inferior to Gunnery. :jawa_frown:

 

Is there a way to turn off the sound of single abilities? Maybe via .ini files?

 

And what do you think about the sound and animation?

i love grav. round. it's my favorite skill on commando actually.

the sound and it's really high damage makes me a happy commando.

 

tracer missile is a milion times worse, tracer missile is just brutal. grav round is nothing like that.

 

for one thing you don't even spam it, with it skilled up, each shot gives 2 stacks so you just use it twice and move on to other things. maybe now and again to keep the stacks up i rarely find myself spamming grav. round. i use alot of different skills. the bh on the other hand i found myself using tracer missile all the time as none of the other skills seemed all that powerful, but with commando i use charged bolts and auto shots probably moreso or just as much as grav. round. and with large groups i use plasma grenade or mortar volley along with that spray shot thingy... so there's plenty of skills to use.
