They are fixing the conquest event. Don't expect anything else.

Expecting them to fix anything is a good joke. The game is still riddled with bugs from beta, let along other patches that broke stuff and they just ignore it. Never seen such an incompetent staff(well PWE) I use to have nothing but respect for Bioware but SWTOR has changed all of that they turned into the rest of the **** developers, lazy. A few hours of real work and this game could be about 98% bug free. Of course if you actually if you did it right the first time you wouldn't have to waste your costumers time on Unscheduled Maintenance.

Thanks BioWare wasting my sub time.

From a german pov :

Its a Holy day in germany and you are shutting servers down during prime time 3:30 - 5:30PM. You are not announcing anything in the german forums, nor a message visible on the launcher. Never has customer support/information been worse. What are your thoughts on non american customers? You do not want them in your game anymore? You think they are just not lucrative enough to invest in a customer support for them? You treat your EU customers much more worse than any other company. Not only is the customer support regarding techniqually difficulties not present, but also is your game/servers full of problems. Not to mention the ongoing serverwide lags on EU servers. But still no yellow post about some news about it. But still you refuse to change server location from ireland to another european country that would offer more stable connections, like Netherlands, Amsterdam to save more money.

This behaviour of your company is not neglectable anymore and has to improve if you don't want to loose your EU gamers.

My thread will probably be deleted, but consider this critic and try to improve.

Please, fix the ""Preview" option for Crystals. Mine aren't working since last patch released.

Thats tied to using a Costume ~ if you goto your actual gear and activate you can preview again (or carry another lightsaber ~ preview it then preview the crystal also works)

To be sincere, if they want to save more money, they have to stay in Ireland ... don't you know this place is the best fiscal place in Europe for companies ? :p

I don't get why this was considered such a priority fix.

Why is this so important that people had to work through the night? Of all the issues this hardly seems to be that big a deal.

Because they "fix" stupid things, and then leave all the other bugs alone. Like was posted earlier, a lot of bugs are left from Beta and never got fixed. On top of that a lot of content that they have released put more bugs in the game that, hey! weren't / aren't fixed.

Every EU rant I see across multiple game forums says the same thing. Maybe EU gamers are all *****holes and make up such a small percentage of the greater gaming population that you get left on the backburner for a reason

Maybe my sentence was not correct, i meant they dont move servers to netherlands to save money because ireland is cheaper but has bad connections as it seems.

Americentric much?

Yeah, as much as I understand trying to get this done early in the day, in the months I've played this game I got the feeling that there is no awareness at all that the people playing on the EU servers are not working and playing on US time.

I know this needs to be done, but at least don't try to pretend as if this isn't a huge annoyance for people who have a day off (it's a holiday in germany) and planned to have a nice long SWTOR day. Those "Oh btw in 15 minutes we're gonna shut down the servers hope you don't mind us not giving you any kind of notice before because we thought since it's early in the morning halfway across the world hardly anyone is actually playing" occurences tend to really get on my nerves, and a lot of the people I play with feel the same way. At least try and be aware that there are other time zones outside of the EST/PST range and fun fact, almost everyone playing on the EU servers is living in one of those.

Speak with money instead of forum posts. If you don't like how they run things start sending your hard earned cash to another game. I just came back after about 2.5yrs because I got fed up. Now I have a lot of new content to chew thru.

Oh you poor soul and your first world problems! I dare you to find a better MMO. I double dare you. What? Back so soon? That's what I thought.

I've had my issues with this game, but at least I respect the hard work the SWTOR staff puts in.
