The diference between the classes are astonishing, it's ok that only one assassin answered, but really there are folks taking 3k+ of dps and the best aassassin can do is 1850 or so. Ridiculous. Everyone is crying out loud that assassin is op, so let me tell you a few things as an sin myself, we have very low dps, the lowest armor rating, we burst, YUPI, 4 secondslater you're worst than a tank, we depend on a skill that envolves the target is on his back, so the disapointment is that in a boss a tank jugg with deflection actually is a 10 times best dps than you are, marauders with monkey tree in pvp will always do more damage, operatives can easly kill ou in stun lock sins cannot, healers can heal themselves to full before i get out of stun lock, as for survivability, well mercs have their shields and can heal themselves, marauders have an abusive shield of invencibility witch the can easily use to get out of combat, jugs are indeed invencible, klling a sorc is a piece of work in pvp an interupable buble that stays longr than the time needed fo door to open. mercs ca be broken in pvp but are exelent on pve, so why was there a nerf so big on the sin?

Btw before all the hate comes I play with a sin indeed, but also a merc a sniper and a marauder.

Im 3 72 Armorings, 4 72 enhancements, an earpiece, 1 implant, and 1 relic away from full underworld. Full willpower augs.

Balance rotation is standard FiB on cd, refresh dots immediately after they fall off, double strike as filler, saber strike when low on force.

Infil I kinda wing it, but its basically Force Breach at 3 stacks of breaching shadows, shadow strike on proc, project at 2 stacks of clairvoyance and circling shadows, clairvoyant strike to build CS, and saber strike when low on force.

Pre and post 2.0 set bonuses will not stack on the two-piece as of 2.1.1 (tomorrow). This will specifically prevent 2/2 set bonus Commandos from operating as they do now. I for one am going back to my old 4-piece.

P.S. My 2789 parse was using the old 4-piece, I wasn't able to beat it yet using 2/2.

Both Andilus and Fascinate seem to be using the 2/2 set bonus there. With the old 4-piece (which you can tell neither of them is using by the cost of their HIB/RS) the crit chance on GR/TM is only 38%~ if you are running all power. It is conceivable but highly unlikely that you could get 55% of Grav Rounds to crit with high crit rating gear, but I think the DPS would noticeably flag before you could get anything out of that. Tacked onto the fact that no-one seems to be running the new 4-piece makes it very likely that they are both using the 2/2 set bonus setup. Cibbal and I are both using the old 4-piece (you can tell, again, from the cost of the HIB in the log view) and our crit rates are much more reasonably centered around 40% which is where it will tend to stay on longer parses. I will be eagerly awaiting the math on whether Kell Dragon gear warrants the use of the new 4-piece over the old, but for another 2 weeks anyway, old 4-piece is the way to go.

P.S. 5 ticks of Orbital strike is completely legit, he is simply using the 2-piece from the PvP set bonus for Gunslinger. It adds to the duration of the burn/additional strikes of XS/OS, but is still valid for us to use if you are willing to take the stat drop.

You get 5 by stacking 2 of the 2pc pvp bonuses. A single 2pc gives 4 ticks.

Ask and you shall receive...answer...the same. Simulated anyway, in current BiS it's about 10 dps gain from old set bonus, and is reduced to 5 dps gain in Kell Dragon. So take your pick, heat management or extra damage reduction from better armorings. I'll be posting more details soon on my arsenal thread.

I went back to old 4 piece as well, so far best i can muster up is about 2900 but it took me a lot of tries to get over 3k before so I'll see what I can do over next few days and re-post
