And, Bruce, you know, you are the worst producer ever. You ve written it so long and..And such roadmap? Really? Maybe your bossess finally tell you that your roadmap has very bad influence at SWTOR reputation.

Thought the same question, roadmap...huh?

Frankly, the only aspect that I like are the recurring events, but their comeback was to be expected anyway.

Personally, I have nothing else to look forward to out of what is mentioned here.

So much for getting any info on the higher level expansion.

Not to mention this...

(...) It’s worth noting that Game Update 2.9 will include the next exciting chapter in the Forged Alliances story arc (...)

Pffffffffff... Seriously....

So, as I said, they will not add any. NiM + event? Omg, really? Just be honest, new team do nothing and suck from patch to patch. Even at first year SWTOR team added more new things than BW now. And where is information about another Addon that all expected? I see only new useless things for CM,everytime just tonsof CM and NO CONTENT! BW start do something o you will lose half of your population. I undertstand that many of 'fans' like to write everytime 'oh, its so exciting, oh thank you, oh,oh,oh' and they need only Sims at SW universe. But is it really good position for SWTOR? If you think that way, so...As i said, you will lose players like at summer 2012. But this time you woldnt have chance to change everything, cause SWTOR is already f2p.

Wow....

Devs, you should give this post the same respect as the effort its author put into writing it. (i.e. None)

As for the road-map, looks good. Adding Bolster to SMs is a great idea. Looking forward to the Casino event, but not sure why it is time limited.

Did you forget to mention the change in tactical and Hm FP's daily rewards ? I.e tactical FP's will get 10 elite comms and HM FP's will get 10 ultimate comms. It is in the patch notes for the PTS build of 2.8. I thought it was a major change really. Unless you have decided to scrap the idea ?

Cheers,

BadOrb.

Thank you! Very glad to hear that event on the Casinos. Perhaps that is a glimpse into the future of them permanently being open. Thanks for the update. I'm not sure what others that are being very dismal about this information were expecting. I'm glad you are communicating to us and let us not forget guys. This roadmap hasn't been the only information we know about a lot of things. They have been telling us about Strongholds and other stuff for some time now. There's no need to bring negativity into this at all.

Thanks for the update and looking forward to more information in the future. :)

Just curious. What is it that you are expecting exactly?

Something like this:

In that road map there were bullets for 2.6, 2.7, and 2.8. In this, we only get 2.8. Which we already had, just a little bit more to it. And Eric said he would tell Bruce to include info on the new expansion, which he didn't do. So overall it's just incredibly underwhelming compared to what we're used to.

Could be a first attempt at an actual mini game. Just to see how it goes and drain a few credits from the economy in the process. I'm intrigued.

hi again everyone!

[*]groupfinder operations overhaul. Story mode operations will be more accessible to endgame players (levels 50 – 55). The operations section in the groupfinder window will list available operations on a pre-determined schedule, rotating in different operations every few days. Players who meet the level requirement of the operation will be bolstered, removing the requirement for endgame gear. Rewards have also been improved, making this a great opportunity for players to earn ultimate commendations and experience new content. These operations will also be for 16-man mode to ensure faster queue times (both 8 and 16 man need 2 tanks and that is typically the gating factor). 16-man is also more forgiving to mistakes and should increase the chances of a successful group.

hallelujahhhhh!!!!!

... So tons of Cartel Market stuff in this... I'm not sure we're reading the same thing. New event (with no relation to CM), Pvp event (no relation to CM), Groupfinder overhaul making it easier to do operations if you are outside of a guild (nothing to do with CM), Nightmare mode Dread Palace release (nothing to do with CM), Two new starfighter ship varients not available on the CM (nothing to do with the CM)... Literally nothing in this post has to do with the Cartel Market. I can only assume you're just trolling here because the only alternative is that you haven't read it.

Well, to be fair, this really isn't a "roadmap" it's an update to get us information on when they next patch and so is coming out. The title would have been "2014 roadmap: Summer and Beyond" or something like that if it were a true roadmap. But it's not a roadmap. It's just a bit of information on what is planned for the summer and when things are going to be released. That's all and no more. We'll probably see more information in the near future.

What's the mindset behind having the Casino feature being an "event" instead of just a permanent feature? It sounds like a cool and interesting/wanted feature, but unlike say the Gree or Bounty Hunter events, this doesn't really seem like an "event" per say, especially with it lasting for 2 months without a clear purpose or point of coming and going. Is it some sort of taste of Galactic Strongholds that will make it's permanent appearance then? If not, it seems a bit odd that it's a feature that will come and go.... It's almost like saying there will be player housing, but you can only access them every other month....

Same goes for increased WZ/GSF rewards.... I thought I understood why this is being done (at least for GSF), but having it be only for a very limited time seems odd... Unlike 2x XP weekends or events that have some special occasion/reason... this seems kind of out of the blue without a clear purpose.

Don't get me wrong, increased rewards for GSF and Casino activities sound awesome... but why have them be limited time "events"? :rak_02:

The problem is that people got all excited for a full roadmap when "Good question. I can do better than this week or next! You will have the roadmap later today :) -Eric" was posted earlier today.

Well, you're correct in that it is titled an update. But until it was posted it was being called a roadmap. That's why I was expecting a roadmap. I wasn't able to instantly change my expectations upon reading the title of the thread.
