echelontee
Hey, I wasn't able to play in the beta so I have no clue about respeccing. The only sources I was able to find on it vaguely mention that at first a respec will be relatively easy to do, and will increase in difficulty depending on how much you do it. I was wondering exactly what is the requirement for respeccing? I plan on playing an Imperial Agent Operative, and will be playing healer in a group with my friends, but was wondering if I could swap to a DPS spec at will, when soloing. Thanks. Leafroy
IIrc i read a post saying it was a small cost. Similar to wow increasing over time.. If you do not respec for a few days the cost lowers back to its standard cost. It seems there is no guild perks or ''multiple specs/souls'' equivvilant here. Shame as they sell themelves as better than wow or rift. In rift you can have 5 souls (5 different stored specs) in Wow you can (iirc) have 4 different specs. Both have gear remembering storage systems too.. Note to devs.. you need to be ''BETTER'' than the competition. However i still have faith in bioware and im sure once we point out these basics are missing, they will impliment it fast. Average_Joe
The devs are considering a dual-spec option, that would allow you to swap specs on the fly. Right now it can only be done at certain NPCs located in the capitals or in your faction's fleet, and the cost increases the more you do it.
