Arcann's power

He's a son of what can be considered a Force God and a prodigy. He's ought to be extremely powerful, not to mention that now he has whole 5 years on you. And carbonite wasn't good for your Outlander's skills and health as well, yeah.

Keep in mind five years is nothing to a Force-user, and Arcann has had no real training in that time either. Valkorion says it himself: his children lack discipline. Both Vaylin and Arcann should be roughly no stronger now than they were in Chapter 1, because neither of them have the foresight or sense to improve themselves, only mindlessly and psychotically murder underlings.

All KOTFE has done is traded one mary-sue god named Vitiate for one named Arcann.

That ****er should have been DEAD after getting thrown off the control spire in Asylum.

Oh, but 5 years of failed carbonite freezing during which their body was slowly deteriorating to the point of eventual death? That might be a HUGE problem.

That we don't know for certain. Even so, his body and mind weren't being ravaged by crabonite poisoning and powerful Force deity respectively for 5 years in a row.

Valkorion says it himself: his children lack discipline

As in, they abuse their powers, yes. That's clearly them lacking a proper discipline.

But you seem to forget that Arcann has been studying the Force and lightsaber combat since early childhood. He may have been worse at it than his brother Thexan, but nevertheless he's a fully trained warrior and a powerful Force user.

Why? Are you implying he couldn't have cushioned himself by using the Force, like Mace Windu did in Episode II? A Force user of his caliber is certainly capable of such feat

You keep using this word, but you don't know what it actually means, do you?

So far, Arcann

1) Doesn't even come close to Valkorion in terms of raw power magnitude and knowledge of the Force

2) Seems to be the weakest of 3 children (only killed Thexan because he had the momentum and his brother didn't want to fight back) and Vaylin is clearly biding her time before she backstabs Arcann

3) Fails to get rid of his father

4) Fails to defeat the Outlander twice in Chapter VIII (yes, external help to our characters still counts)

5) Prophecised by several NPCs to eventually fall because he's a petty, jealous, shortsighted pr*ck

Doesn't sound like a perfect infallible being to me.

Plus the fact that he was trained from a very young age and Valkorian does not strike me as the type to give out many breaks

Where does it say that. Did you forgot how Anakin and Obi Won improved in 3 years so much that they could match Dooku? Do you remember their first battle with Dooku where he played with them that big was the difference between them he did not even had to be serious to defeat them.

Another example is how Luke improved in 1 year that he could defeat his father compared to the first time when he lost his arm against him.

So 5 years for a force user is huge. I gave proof to that so if any want to challenge my claim please give proof also.

This whole expac is kind of an uninspired mess to be honest.

The devs might have been trying to go for a Megabyte & Hexidecimal dynamic duo for the players to fight.

But instead we are getting a discount Darth Caedus and ripoff Dark Pheonix pair of villains with "another" Star Forge. Nothing original or interesting about them really. Just cliche evil villain what not while power is just handed to them. Granted this could be played up as to why they are so spoiled but it's still makes for a boring enemy.

Pretty much and his buff ultimate defense states that he was trained by the Zakuul knights and the Scions who in my opinion who may have higher standards of training considering who both organizations were set up by. Considering the cinematic their training seems a lot more hardcore than sith.

The only PC Force user that should be complaining about not being able to steamroll someone like Arcann is a full Darth Nox. That guy has a beef, but he's also the most likely to use Valkorion's big guns in the first place.

Everyone else...these are competitive fights. You can lose those. Hell Vaylin loses a fight despite being more serious AND stronger than her opponent. Not to mention why Valkorion - who can flatten Darth Marr and Arcann back-to-back - is in your head in the first place.
